I just realized I rarely rank up with the Vanguard or my Factions since I quit playing strikes. I personally HATE strikes - Vanguard, Heroic, Nightfall - all of them. So I either raid or play crucible. Looking at my Titan sitting at 2405 of 2500 I realized it may take me a while. Then I thought: hey, aren't raid bosses more threatening and villainous than an eye on the sky or a jail broken kell? I mean, Bungie never devoted a storyline to any strike boss like they have for Crota or Oryx, who threaten to destroy everything in the cosmos, so why not get rep for beating them? Just a thought.
