Today I was thinking about year 1. I started thinking about it because of my year 1 destiny PS4 theme. It's there so that I never forget. So that I'll never forget the original Gjallarhorn. The moment it dropped for me in a game of rumble. So that I'll never forget my first raid with some of my best friends that I still play with today. So that I'll never forget the year 1 thorn. It was a pain in the ass, but I can still look back at it with a smile. Or the original story, that may have left a lot to be desired, but still amazed me the first time through. My first character, who I still play with to this day. Year 1 was where my best memories were made. Looking back, I'm sad. I definitely prefer year 1 to year 3. Destiny is still fun, but nothing will ever top my experiences in year 1. It makes me sad to look back and think that the game has changed so much, that the game I used to know, is gone. That year 1 version of destiny that I loved, Is gone. Never forget the memories you forged, guardians. Always remember your beginnings. Always remember Year One.
