Yeah, not really a fan of how Bungie went about this, and really makes no sense. I can understand toning down things that drastically unbalanced the game (esp. for PvP) but nerfing things that people weren't even complaining about by preemptively nerfing them before they've even become a problem seems like going to the opposite extreme compared to their previous 'laissez-faire' attitude towards grossly unbalancing weapons, armor, supers, etc. where they would let players exploit these OP things at the expense of other players' fun.
