I'm afraid about the evolving world, i mean, i don't want to feel pressured to participate, if i can't log in for a week I'll miss some crucial part of the story? Not a good approach in my opinion.

I think the "evolving world" is a seasonal thing, not a weekly thing. If you miss a whole season, that's on you.

This would be a good opportunity for Bungie to explore the idea official and unofficial servers when developing future destiny "D3" given that they're still using the DirectX10 API limits their capabilities on expansion I certainly hope in the future that Bungie is seeking to use more efficient API's that would allow them to expand effortlessly and without major technical issues Vulcan would be a good start and dedicated servers, and in this case if they still want to have things roll off they can do that on official servers and unofficial servers can maintain the bulk of Destiny also would introduce the capability of having a modding community for armor and weapon designs for unofficial servers "just some wishful thinking"

I didn’t play the game and I missed something. That makes sense to me. You never actually miss something. You discover it later than everyone else

Editado por Corrick II: 8/18/2019 1:43:20 PMYeah, this pretty much kills it for me. I can’t log on every day and sometimes have to take weeks or months off from games. Going this direction for Seasonal updates might be the nail in the coffin as I’m not about to pay for content that won’t be available. I get it. I get why they’re doing it. Console limitations and how they built Destiny are forcing them to adopt a “add/remove” strategy, but I’m sorry, I just don’t treat games like a full time job.
-
Didn't they do something like this in D1? If you pay for content, you should have access to that content for as long as the game is "live" in my opinion. Everybody keeps making excuses about file sizes and storage, but the cold truth is that for a lot of 4k era modern games, 60-100Gb is becoming the norm and that's only going to get worse the closer everything gets to 8k. I think asking people to pay for access to content and then removing said content, is a bad move on their part. I think I get what they're trying to do, but there's better ways to go about it than outright removing something that people have paid for. Might as well make it a subscription based service at that point.

It will return . And yes maybe it will eventually lead to be guided by your progress but phasing content out so that new content can be phased in is the logical way since it simply can’t grow too much in the future anyway
-
Anyone else feel like this idea was tailor made to increase content creator's views? Missed part of the season, go to Bungie supported youtubers/streamers who have content ready to go for all your viewing needs!!!!

Whenever like Smith takes lead he always misconstrues feedback and creates something no one even wanted.
I'm afraid about the evolving world, i mean, i don't want to feel pressured to participate, if i can't log in for a week I'll miss some crucial part of the story? Not a good approach in my opinion.
Bungie is turning Destiny into a Full Time Job and that is going to drive people away from the Game. I used to play a Mobile Game called Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes and I stopped playing it cause it started feeling like a Full Time Job cause say you were up to date on all things in that game. If you took a week long break, you would be like 6 Months behind and have to catch up and when a Game feels like a Full Time Job, it’s time to put it away. Games aren’t suppose to be work. It should and suppose to be is you left for a week, came back and you would be right where you left off. Warframe when I leave and take a break, when I come back to it, I feel like I haven’t missed out on anything and don’t feel like I’m 6 Months behind and need to catch up. Warframe, Borderlands, Division, the upcoming Cyberpunk2077 are all Games that you can play on your own time and not feel left behind. Your time AND money are respected. People’s time is precious and people don’t have the time to make a Game their Job rather then a Game you play to destress from a long day of work. I’m at a point now that I’m either going to save money, build a PC and buy Destiny and transfer my Characters over to PC cause as I understand it, only Console Players will have the Content removed with each Season that they paid for while PC will still have everything and have nothing removed after each Season.

I'm concerned about that as well. I've already expressed how Forsaken was bad in this regard, but the Invitation of the Nine bounties were suprisingly good.
-
its not going to evolve that fast
-
That's why I play borderlands for the next few months. I'll wait and see how destiny turns out. Seasonal exclusives would kill all drive to keep playing the game for me.

How many people missed the Aldren awakening video? I almost did Who goes to see the Queen now? Not me since I got the lore title Unless you watch a YouTuber or constantly are reading Destiny news, you will miss stuff and that is wasted development $. How many hours did it take animators to make that cutscene? What is their hourly wage? Even if it is only 30 seconds, Bungie just spent money and development time on something 90% of the players missed. What about Xur selling One eyed mask with enhanced hand cannon targeting 2 weeks ago? I only got it because I happen to like Houndish and I'm addicted to Destiny since D1 day 1. I couldn't play for almost all of July and I'm sure I missed out on stuff.
