Throughout my years of playing Destiny, I’ve come to love the architecture of places such as the Black Garden, The Last City, even Titan’s rigs.
But going through all of these beautiful places made me notice some of the smaller pieces. Once we finish all these missions and bounties. Where does our Guardian rest? Does he/she have a home or apartment somewhere? A bunk in the Tower maybe?
So I questioned if it was possible for a player home to be added to Destiny 2. A space that you can decorate and style to fit your character or just you as a player.
The idea revolves around expanding our uses of glimmer. Since glimmer is a widespread currency; pay glimmer for the home. 50,000 glimmer is a fair price(compared to max of 100,000) and leaves glimmer for the player to purchase decorations and color schemes to customize his guardian’s special hideaway.
The idea of the player home stems from us only overseeing the Last City and never truly having our own place among the civilians of such a grand safe haven. With a player home, the player as well as the game, is introduced to a few extra sights that you could only witness at a closer view of the City.
Some decoration ideas could be: The radio from D1 but more compact, a bed or possible Calus-esque chair to relax in, and maybe an armory to showcase the player’s favorite exotics of each gun class or armor section.
Overall just an idea I was questioning and would enjoy feedback about, thank you for taking the time to look this over and I hope it interests you some as well.

Personally I think Bungie needs to re-purpose the farm as a clan hang out. Allowing you to customize certain areas of the farm with clan related items like clan flags and clan earned trophies. From there we can push it a little bit further to create personal homes mostly containing some comfort items and trophies of your exploits.
