So now that basically everything requires a team, (cuz I can’t Even solo a seraph tower) and progress In The game, What do I do now? Im a full time dad with a full time job and when I actually have a moment I need to just be able to turn on and go. I can’t do that anymore, I Love this game but I literally had to shelf it right now. Bring back some soloability would you?

I couldn’t agree more!! I would really like to see them bring back some playability to solo players. I’m all down for multiplayer, clans, fire teams and fire team activities but it’s going in a direction that’s limiting my ability and enjoyment of playing. Season of the worthy is ridiculously frustrating for me as a solo player. Not to mention lack of ability to play trials of Osiris.. I am beyond frustrated with the game at times.. I was grinding like crazy to achieve 1011 power and I still struggle with the legendary lost sector for the last part of the four horsemen Quest. It took me a hour to do the last step As a solo player!! The game is great and fun and I enjoy playing it but I hate to see it start to become so closed off to solo players and activities.

Why wont you people accept that this is a multiplayer online game. This game, as well as many other online games, are not meant to be soloed. Either suck it up and find people to play with or drop the game. As for the people who bring up the "I have a job" excuse, that's bullshīt. Alot of us have jobs but no matter how much time we have to play, be it 30 minutes or several hours, we still find people to run stuff with.

I'm with this one....trying to do the Legendary Quarry as well as others is too damn hard for one person....why do the Ads maintain their yellow bars or refresh their yellow bars when being shot at?.....i thought ONLY the Guardians could replenish their powers......I'm wasting my time and energy trying to stay with this game....once ya shoot something it' supposed to die period....I'm losing interest in this game as time progresses

I am with you on this one. Destiny is back in its case on my media shelf, too. Destiny was my free-time go-to since 2014, but with my real-life work and family responsibilities, I can’t do it anymore. I’ve posted about similar issues in the past, specifically in reference to how the game leaves solo/casual players in the dust. Unfortunately, on these forums, you’re just gonna get a lot of “git gud” or “it’s not a solo/casual game” or “this game isn’t for you” responses. I’ve started playing authentic solo games lately - Call of Duty, The Witcher, Dragon Age and Mass Effect. I can now pause the game or drop the controller to take care of real-life things without any second thoughts. It’s very freeing, actually.

companion app on phone, has ps4, pc, xbox just sign in and create lfg team or join one
-
Get ready for mostly responses of people that don’t understand that this game can be friendly to both in a way that lets everyone have a path of acquisition to everything. Apparently Bungie doesn’t even get that.
-
Nightfall the Ordeal has conventional matchmaking, while the weekly nightfalls require you to have a pre existing Fireteam for the inclusion of two other players. Especially with nightfall exclusive rewards you have a portion of the game which is inaccessible to a portion of players. It is very unfortunate for them. Though you can always join or host an LFG, but it can be inconvenient.
-
I wouldn't be too worried about it because rewards f****** suck in the tower event It's not worth your time. Hell you don't even get a powerful reward from the bunker until you hit rank 7... If you are to watch the reviews for season of the Worthy you would know all this. how basically the PVE content this season is utterly garbage and a complete joke. clearly bungees main focus was trials. The tower event literally feels like it was made by a 1 year old. It's too damn easy.

Maybe play the game casually until you get the gear to solo the tower. Or just don't play a game you don't have enough time to dedicate to. Ive been a mostly solo player since alpha of destiny 1 so I get the struggle. But if you choose to play solo, you need to accept that you need to be at best, top tier in terms of gear to beat some content. We can go back and fourth and talk about difficulty settings and making content that hardens with the addition of more players but that's not in the table right now so it doesn't do you any good.

It doesn't help that I literally never see anyone running public events anymore, not even the seraph towers. Just tried one on earth and had only 1 person try to help, but they just rage quit because they were like 780 or something and did next to no damage because the event was a fricking 980. Even I can't do much to the enemies there being at 960 and getting gear at less than my current level from all strikes and events I run. It is hard as hell to actually level up at a reasonable rate in this game while still retaining the gear you actually like. I never have enough modules to upgrade my gear, and I don't want to be forced to take off my set I worked long and hard for just because it is a couple levels below new stuff I got.

Editado por ABackSeatDriver: 3/18/2020 2:21:11 AMI feel ya, man. I work 40+ hours a week and the little time I have to play isn't enough to do a raid or anything that requires a team and the time to do. And now they increased the difficulty but haven't given us anything to really handle it, just an artifact to grind away at to get more power to hang with the difficulty. I mean honestly, wouldn't it be better to give players more abilities to use rather than an artifact that acts as a grind stone that doesn't really offer any meaningful additions? Like giving each class some extra abilities that highlight their uniqueness from the others. Adding a second class ability, like a double press action for titans and warlocks and a press'n hold action for hunters. Give all titans shoulder charge for free but at lower damage. Give all warlocks a grenade charging and melee charging abilities. And give hunters the ability to wall-run to add to their mobility options. Just these alone would add more value to each class in how they can handle in combat.

i am a solo player and am currently 1011
-
Was never meant to be a solo player game. Don't understand why people complain and want to turn a cooperative multiplayer game into a single player game. Go play assassin's Creed. Destiny is not a single player game and never was meant to be.
-
Freelance comp will level you fast
-
Well, the game is an MMO for a reason. That's kind of part of it. Trust me, as someone who plays solo as much as humanly possible - just use Discord or an LFG site. It's not that hard.
-
I am a solo player and have 5 EDZ tower clears in about 10 attempts. You just need to play at times where the player count is high.
-
You didn’t experience forever 29, and it shows. LOL
-
You can progress. You just need to play something besides stories and old missions. You can play solo doing crucible, strikes, gambit, weekly planet thing(forgot what it’s called!). Just because most are a fire team thing, you can still join solo and do what you want to accomplish the goals. Nothing takes to much time so you can also do life’s more important things.
-
I am a solo player, I will use lfg tho. Still made 1k on all 3 of my characters and didn’t even do all I could have done
-
Literally did everything solo (even the seraph tower public event and bunker clean up) and got to 987 within 2 days. Only pinnacle gear stuff I couldn't do but you're not supposed to be able to solo that.
-
Editado por Riceboy: 3/17/2020 4:56:09 PMYou can do plenty solo, and progressing is among those things. Even a lot of the stuff you can’t do solo is still doable because of matchmaking.
-
Stop whining that you need to interact with human beings to play a multiplayer team game and LFG some folks
-
Go play a singleplayer game. I just got my girlfriend playing paper mario: thousand year door.
-
I got 2 kids (8 months, 6 year old), job, wife. Its not hard to use lfg. You can literally form a fireteam faster than you can load up the game. You don't need a mic just because you're in a fireteam

Stop lying to me and yourself
