So now that basically everything requires a team, (cuz I can’t Even solo a seraph tower) and progress In The game, What do I do now? Im a full time dad with a full time job and when I actually have a moment I need to just be able to turn on and go. I can’t do that anymore, I Love this game but I literally had to shelf it right now. Bring back some soloability would you?

To be fair, if you have other obligations, you must accept that you can't have everything you want if you don't have the time to get it. That said, there are primarily solo players who do have the time, but lack means. One of my biggest issues with D2 is the lack of an intuitive in-game looking for group chat or tool. It's a sort of "I see characters, but I don't meet players" sort of feeling when playing the game, because there's so little to facilitate interacting with others. No one talks or interacts at all; everyone's just doing their own thing. Having to rely on an app or tab out to a web browser is so clumsy and unintuitive, especially to new players, that it's no wonder a lot of the non-matchmade content doesn't even exist in the history of so many. Even something as simple as a global looking for group chat in the tower would be excellent, at least on PC. On console, something like a window in the director to list and see listed groups would work. Even as a primarily solo player myself, I don't agree that everything should be obtainable solo, but I do sorely hate how annoying it is to not just find a group, but figure out how to find them in the first place, so much to the point where I just refuse to participate in non-matchmade stuff as a sort of protest for how awful the process is. Then again, this has always been a problem. So many essential facets of the game have absolutely ZERO clues on them even existing, from simple things such as how to make a public event heroic, to more complicated things as getting together and coordinating an end-game activity. Finally discovering them usually comes from being frustrated and being forced to stomach someone's ad-cluttered blog post covering the topic, followed by refusing to do them anyways out of spite for such a terrible system.

This is why I'm playing BFV at the moment, can just jump on and play, also it manages to fill a 64 player lobby before D2, funny that.
-
I feel, you. Although i'm not an adult, i have trouble playing trials and pve towers. I carry people in trials and get smashed by a hardlight player. Not fair.
-
Nonsense. I play solo and have the bunker complete and am at 987. It’s slower, but doable.
-
I've never thought of Destiny as a solo game...ever since D1 launch I assumed this was a game designed to be played with friends that squad up (fireteams...) Maybe i'm the odd man out here, bu I honestly can't understand the perspective that this game is a solo game.

How did u do ep and the sundial events. Then? Nothing has changed

Dont worry nobody can progress the story till early April. The game has become a full on stalling tactic from long loading screen to constant running backwards and forwards to collect bounties from Tower and EDZ I thought the standing updating the obelisks during the last seasons activity was bad But now timegating and locking story content is diabolical I literally have nothing left to do until the next bunker opens. -blam!- trials They have really messed up with this season and either they are trying to stall the game due to lack of available content. I wouldn't be surprised if they are still working on season 10 or someone is making very poor decisions They got to stop kissing each others butts and telling each other how great this game is and someone needs to stand up in these decision making meetings and say it as it is They believe their own hype to much

Seraph Towers are actually one of the worst ways to get Bits. You get about six for doing it, completing it only gives an extra two Bits. Bounties give ten. Just do Bounties, as boring and mindless as it is.
-
This game shifted from allowing solo players to progress with Shadowkeep. You basically can't progress in the endgame without actual friends who play Destiny consistently. I mean, that actually is the toughest part of Destiny. To find anyone who wants to play it consistently.

People who say "matchmaking is stupid, why not just LFG?" are the same people who say "elevators are stupid, why not take the stairs?"
-
I agree... folks will say unwittingly, “find a team”... but that takes time and time is one thing “responsible” adults do not have a lot of, especially to devote to manipulating pixels on a tv screen. I love this game, or loved it more like it, it’s starting to feel like a chore anymore. For the nerds who say, “go play other games, you don’t have to play D2”... uh, did you read the above? Time, I in no way want to invest in finding another game, learning it... no thanks. Been here six years, this game was suppose to be better than this yard sale we have now. For the kids who think they know what their talking about, I was playing Halo on the first Xbox before you were even a twinkle in your daddy’s eye... Google it junior. Lmao.

There needs to be OPTIONAL matchmaking for everything.
-
Finish it for 2 warmind bits when I can do all bounties in one run without playing objective for 100 warmind bits???? Hmmm
-
I've soloed every Saraph tower. Keep loading in until you get a few players. When you have at least 4 start it up. Success is maybe 50/50 for me so far. If you're lucky there's one in progress and you're player 4, 5 or 6.

All my friends left Xbox and went to pc. I’m pretty much solo until I get my pc up and running. I’m light level 999. So it can be done. What sucks is all the xp you lose out on if you’re not in a fire team when you turn in your bounties.
-
Its a group focused game. Shocker. Reload instances until you get a seraph event with people in it.

Editado por Immortal_Spads: 3/16/2020 5:02:43 PMI have spent many hundreds of dollars on everything from bungie store and "Silver" for Tess to all the expansions and ridiculous DLC. They have lost any further money from me for a long, long time. There are several issues with the current game/season. PVP and PVE... pretty much sums it up for me. If you wish to PvP (like I did) you need only to have two guns. Revoker (some call it sniper but I dont... it's more like an OP scout rifle because of the speed and aim it has) and Hard Light. I dont have a Revoker because I dont snipe. it's why I left COD. Too many snipers corner camping to allow the game to be fun. I typically won around 50-60% of my matches before this season dropped. No, I'm not a great PvP'er but I do love me some Crucible. This week I have played 50+ matches mostly control but I did try around 20 Survivals and 4 Trials. All together, I have won 3... usually because there is a hunter on my team that can pull 30+ kills. If you PVE, you're in luck, you get nothing you can do solo. Gear doesn't drop in anything above current light level unless you do one of the few weekly bounties. There are no real quests and if you want to do storyline, you must have someone team up with you else die immediately from last season's trash mobs (anyone remember the barrier/overload/unstoppable trash?). If you increase light, everything in the mob land increases so you get no obvious value to increased light. However, light does little when increased, except in Crucible. There, light matters and all the sweats have ruined the game because the only decent drop rate happens in survival (see Rick Kackis' video). Again, only the sweats get anything worthwhile. I will continue to do junk strikes from the playlist and avoid Survival, Trials and the sweaty's... hopefully Bungie will take a serious look at what they did to the community with this 10th season and remember most of their money comes from those of us with jobs and not those sweaty's living in their mom's basement with nothing else to do but Trials/Survival. So with the light levels "time gated" and nearly zero new story or content unraveling before our very eyes, this season seems to be for the sweaty's and only them. I hope they enjoy it and quit belly aching for that self-licking ice cream cone called Trials... where all the twitchie's, hackers and overall most hateful folks I have ever come into contact with in gaming reside. Funny, I actually got teabagged after a death in a Trials game that I had not one kill... the guy doing it has nearly 20. You think he would thank me for helping is K/D...LOL. So, yeah... I guess he told me what Bungie has told the entire game community about their feelings. Season 10 is Bungie Teabagging the community for all their hard earned money given them to provide fresh content each season. I guess all I can do is say a warm Thanks?

This isn’t a solo game 🤦♂️ So if you’re gonna play it solo expect to progress a lot slower. Stop -blam!- just because you’re too lazy to LFG...
-
Raids are the most annoying part, since the raid exotics are the only exotics I don’t have (except wish-ender) but I do wish most other things were easier solo.
-
Editado por Brother_Hesh: 3/16/2020 4:39:52 PMBounties, strikes, crucible and gambit all award bits, once you select correct upgrade nodes, use them to upgrade your bunker. Bunker upgrades provide chip sets. Chip sets level up your bunker to unlock bunker rewards. Eventually you will unlock the elite heavy frame which will allow you to solo legendary lost sectors with ease as the heavy frame will kill everything including champions and heavy frames. With the exception of the public event this seasons content is almost completely able to be solo’d
-
Hate to say it but it is an online multiplayer game. There's plenty of single player games.
-
I guess the question is - yes, you can progress, but do you really want to?
-
This is destiny. The entire game has always been friendly to playing as a team. I get it man, I like to play solo and just chill but that doesn't mean that every activity and every season has to be oriented to the solo experience.
-
Full time working Dad here also. I've dropped off the Destiny bandwagon somewhat as I feel there just isnt enough to keep me, as a team-oriented player, entertained. Strikes bore me Not a PvP sweat (though dont assume I begrudge Trials, I dont at all 👍) We couldnt be more different in what we like to do in-game and here we both are, unsatisfied. Funny that.
-
Turn the game off and teach your kids the basics, wash their hand, wash their face, cover they mouth when they sneeze, Yada-ya da-yada...you get it, apparently a generation jump this step and now we are suffering for it.
-
Editado por name: 3/16/2020 4:15:29 PMits been like that since day1 of D1 , for some reason they think not having matchmaking in a online only game is a good idea :D best you can do is quit tbh
