I was banned on November 3, 2019, this was bungie's thanks for pre-ordering the Moon's dlc. I wrote to Bungie using the form to contest the ban. I wrote a lot, sending tickets on tickets, to receive a 1 line response: Request refused. I play from Destiny 1, I spent about 900 hours of play on Destiny 2, and 450 on Destiny 1. Bungie did not even specify the reason for the ban, i am still writing, 2 weeks ago i opened another ticket, i am still waiting for an answer. I believe in justice, and if I really broke the rules I deserve the ban. As you can see I have the cross save active, I spent about 5/10 hours playing on a PC, I played a few games of pvp (where I barely reached a positive rate) and I went to the tower a couple of times. I used Obs to record a couple of pvp games, and that's all. I know that the forum is not the best way to ask for explanations, I hope to receive at least one reply to my ticket via email. If, however, response times have slowed down due to Covid-19 I'll understand.
P.S. I am not English, as you may have guessed from writing.
EDIT: I activated the history, thanks for letting me know. I just disabled it because I got carried in comp 1 year ago, so I didn't want people know it. Now I don't give a damn anymore, I just want to be unbanned.

Bye Bye Another one bites the dust Another one bites the dust And another one gone, and another one gone Another one bites the dust

Your survival matches on September 6th may be a good reason for your ban, actually.
-
I'm guessing it's probably for all those comp matches on September 5th.
-
Shoutout to bringing this up 8 months after the fact.

Hey there! The #Help forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. Please review the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48629 Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned. For more information on Bungie's policy regarding bans and restrictions, please review the policy here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929

Hidden account history and just transferred to PC...either you cheated in your account history or you had illegal.software running on PC.
-
You should disable the matchhistory hide so people/moderators can see whether or not your history looks suspicious
-
It’s strange how all these guys who were banned also have match history hidden so you can’t check right? Guess it’s always a coincidence. Turn that off and let us see if you cheated
-
if you only played about 5-10 hours on pc after cross-saving, most likely you had some cheat software of some kind running. even if it's for other games, if it's detected it will result in a ban and no amount of appeals will get the ban reversed.
