Do not open regional chests before doing the Gift of Appreciation Questline
So I opened one of the region chests before knowing that the Gift of Appreciation quest would require you to open all 9 of them. Now, because I opened one before the quest started, the progression is bugged and now I am missing a chest but cannot open it.
Just a warning, and hopefully Bungie can fix this!

I opened all except 1 before getting the quest. It still completed.

2 RespuestasI'm not sure about the quest but those chest are always one of the first things I do on new planets as well as LSs. When is the quest given?

Don't panic, as I think the chests respawn, at least, they did in the Dreaming City... -
I opened one before I got the mission and it still counted, fwiw. 🤷♂️
