Option to make strikes private
Sometimes I just want to vibe through a strike instead of having two teammates speed run it. Test out a build or something.
It also could provide a decent challenge without having to go in a higher tier nightfall.
At least having the option would be nice.
Edit: this is meant for strikes that can be individually selected on different planets, not related to the vanguard ops playlist.

5 RespuestasOnly solution right now is to set your systems date a month or two into the future and then you can load into strikes solo. But a private node for strikes and the new Battlegrounds would be so nice

5 RespuestasThey won't ever put a solo option on base strikes. The reason for this is very simple. Destiny is a free to play game at its base level enticing players to try it out and if they like it buy the game. If a solo option was added to the base strikes most players would opt for a solo run because it's a cake walk for them, this would dwindle down the matchmaking drastically. Now imagine your a free to play player or a very very casual player playing the game. no exotics, no builds,no experience, low power level etc. The matchmaking time would blow out and the possibility of them having to run solo while getting steam rolled by the enemy. They surely wouldn't hang around long or buy the game or silver purchases. Stop asking for it it's never going to happen, you can run nightfalls solo, dungeons solo, raids solo, exotic missions solo there is so much to solo but the base strikes list will never be optioned for solo play, end of story.

Matchmaking should be an option for NF and strikes, not the standard. I often get double the kills of the guys that I run NF advanced with when farming strange coins and pathfinder, and feel bad... I would much rather solo it, and take a small hit on time for completion than know that I could be making it less enjoyable for someone else playing. I am not speedrunning, but I am not going slow... just going at my pace, and killing everything on the way that I can.
