Fix melee lunge desync

this has been a problem for over a decade when will it be fixed? why does my enemy come out from the grave and punch me??? why do people always trade in this game??? is the desync that bad? are the servers that slow? is it something like a refresh rate??? is it just that all players have bad internet speeds or something? seriously this is STILL a problem a PROBLEM

  • There is no dedicated server in PVP ( the hybrid server/ peer to peer parts is only for pve ) Being the host give you a peak advantage over other player If one player have poor connection in a lobby it makes every other player a bit laggier Being the host give you the possibility to double connect your shot on laggy player : ( two tapping hand cannon without a damage buff for exemple ) You can force host by artifficialy decreasing your ping by using device like a Gaming rooter / change your dns ports or using a vpn and changing your NAT type to NAT 2 to Connect only with player of your region. -> it’s not a lagswitch or a ddos attack so it should not be considered as a network manipulation but it should definatly enhance your gaming experience. Remember that destiny 2 was originilay planed for release on PS3/360 , back then all the fps games used this tech of peer to peer connection and its technicaly very difficult / likely impossible to change a feature like this in the core game post Launch / mid develepoment so do not expect dedicated servers in pvp to be a thing.
