indirect nerf to an already underutilised exotic (rain of fire)

with radient getting a 5% reduction to its damage buff, rain of fire took a hit as its perk grants radient.
5% is not much and probably wont shift the needle for me but it upsets me that THE ONLY exotic that warlocks have that buffs a weapon archatypes damage is getting nerfed while only being okay to beguin with?
i wish they just gave it a stacking damage buff like the other classes get, i get that warlocks are the wizards but id also like to build into guns just as much as the other two classes, i dont get why warlocks get treated so differently in this area of the game?

4 RespuestasUhhhhh I don't think you know just how bad the stacking buffs are in comparison. They don't work with surge mods and only provide an extra 3% over them and take so many kills it ain't even worth it. Case in point Burning Path is 12 kills to get max stacks which only refreshes every 2 kills. This same effect applies to all exotics generally given a second activation requirement but I'd doubt bungie would allow just a fusion kill because while they do suck in pvp x4 is enough to MASSIVELY reduce the ttk which is why the requirements aren't easy to hit in pvp. If they did it'd probably be 1 fusion kill for 1 stack and maybe a 2nd one that's like "getting an ability melee kill instantly grants max stacks"
