Alright started to play the MGS series and i played MGS3 because it's the first in the story line
I just finished MGS3 and now going to MGS:PW
But this game feels like i should play it on the PSP not consoles
I'm thinking on just heading to MGS2 and playing Peace Walker some other time
Thoughts?

Peace Walker is a strange beast. The story is tangentially related to other games in the series and the gameplay is a RADICAL departure from traditional "tactical espionage action". I play most of it and while I found it mostly enjoyable (the music and cutscenes are really neat), the gameplay was just a turn off. The "stealth" sections are similar to traditional MGS gameplay (but stripped way down) and are okay, but the boss fights are another story entirely. Each boss is a giant robot that you must take down using careful item/ammo management and significant strategy. Some bosses can't even be tackled until you unlock and upgrade certain weapons, which brings me to my main problem I have with the game. There is a whole separate "game" from the main game, one that involves capturing people (enemies/hostages in stealth sections) and recruiting them to your "Motherbase". Motherbase is your home base which you can (and must) upgrade different facilities thus getting the ability to unlock new weapons and gadgets. Motherbase is also home to your army. Each person you recruit has individual stats that make them good at one thing or anothe... I dont feel like blathering anymore so Ill sum up my feeling in 3 words. I HATE MICROMANAGEMENT.
