Looks like Sony's PlayStation people can't resist mocking the Xbox One every time they're in a room with at least several hundred people, judging by today's presentation at Gamescom—a video game trade fair held in Germany.
Not only did Andrew House, president of Sony Computer Entertainment, reveal the PlayStation 4's release date, he also claimed that the PS4 has been "consistent" with its message and "in tune" with consumer desires. His remarks likely reference the about-face in policies that the Xbox One took, and in doing so, sets up a contrast to Sony's approach in marketing the PS4. Of course, this isn't the first time Sony has taken a shot at the Xbox One.
Seriously. Sony is incredibly immature. They're acting like hormone raging college girls at a One Direction concert. We get it. Microsoft really dropped the ball with their message of the XB1, but it's getting old. They keep trying to take potshots at the XB1, where surprisingly, the XB1 has not tried to take revenge yet. It's like the all the Sony buttbudies are running the company now.
Also, it's not like Sony hasn't misinformed the public about their policies either before with the PS4. They are treading on the hypocrite line as well. Getting tired of your shit Sony.
the XB1 has not tried to take revenge yet.
How can they? Microsoft is getting pounded. If they go on the offensive, they look even more delusional. Sony is doing what it gets to do. When you fumble the ball, you don't cry about how the other team is now on offensive, you gear up for defense and try to hold the line until a turnover.

Editado por Vgnut: 8/21/2013 2:12:59 AMHow do people like you watch any sporting event? You must start crying during a UFC match. Seriously this is what is called competition. Sony wants to beat the crap out of Microsoft? Good. I hope Microsoft wants to do the same to Sony. That's how we get good games, quality products, and competitive prices.
-
So am I to understand that Microsoft changed a lot of its policies because a large amount of the internet complained... and now the internet is complaining that Microsoft changed? Yup, the internet is full of stoopid
-
Well its true... microsoft did have to change all of their policies cause they were shit. Sony didn't have to because they weren't trying to take advantage of people.
-
Obviously you haven't seen the windows tablets making fun of the iPads lately...

Editado por AK Drummer 11: 8/25/2013 9:02:22 AMI guess you haven't seen Microsoft's massive ad campaign that's doing everything it can to try and convince people that Bing is better than Google.

Are people actually making a bid deal out of this? Companies have been taking potshots at each other since forever. MS has done it to Apple numerous times, Sega did it to Nintendo and vice versa. This is nothing out of the ordinary people.
-
It doesn't matter anyway. It's your choice, not theirs
-
Meh. Let them talk, I'll still enjoy my One.
-
Who has the server lists, again?
-
I am getting an Xbox One, and as I think PS4 looks cool to, I think Sony is full of greedy douche bags who have their happy masks on.
-
ITT: Butt hurt users don't like smack talk on the corporate level.
-
Hey man, that's marketing.
-
They really are being immature, and it's this reason I just can't buy Sony products or like Sony overall. I have nothing against the playstation, and in fact owned the ps1 and 2 before switching to the Xbox 360. Having competition however, turned them into major dicks. They could just be the better people and carry on promoting without mocking, but no. Sony and Apple, the two companies that I just can't stand.
-
I've never liked Sony, just an overall meh company. They make some good products though, they just need to work on their smack talk. You can't keep making fun of the XB1. First time its funny, multiple times after it people are just tired of it.
-
It's funny because MS did fuck up, and it should cost them something. However, Sony should just be the better person, if that makes any sense.
-
I know right? Get a grip damn it!

Editado por Logfish111: 8/20/2013 11:51:01 PMAbsolutely pathetic, I hope they go out of business when they lose to XB1 this year.

You sound like a soccer mom

At this point it would be pretty funny if Xbox comes out on top.
-
If sony were going 'nyah nyah nyah! M$ Suxs' like a pack of raging fanboys then I'd agree that they are being immature. But they aren't. They are pointing out that so far Microsoft have done enough U-Turns to rename the Xbox One the 720, whilst they have stuck with the same consumer friendly message. Also I don't know why people say sony dropping the Eye to lower the price is a bad thing. If anyone is daft enough to want motion control gaming over a proper controller then they can pay an extra £100. Most people don't want that crap and so surprise surprise the PS4 looks like a more wallet friendly console. That doesn't make the Xbone bad, the two consoles are pretty much the same. The only difference is the message going out and the policies/ideas run by the companies. Microsoft look like Spaghetti that hit a wall after E3. Peggle 2. Sony have kept their head, shown what people want and poked fun at Microsoft for making such asses of themselves.
-
I thought it was funny; It's nice to see companies take jabs at the other, especially since Microsoft has reversed so much.
