2 RespuestasI am certainly no fan of Republican economic policies, but based on a simple understanding of statistics, this is not a good argument against them. If you aren't running a randomized experiment or case-control studies, cause and effect between explanatory (Republican president) variables and outcome (frequency of recessions) variables is bogus.

5 RespuestasSeparating America further by creating more of a party gap is not helpful at all. 9 of the last 9 recessions happened under incompetent presidents. If you want to play the party game, the liberals haven't done shit as of late, and both conservatives and liberals have decided they would rather watch our country burn then work together. We don't need a liberal president, or a conservative president. We need a competent president. For christ's sake can we get someone in office with some f[i]u[/i]cking common sense!

And notice how Obama isn't on here another liberal biased website. Obama doubled bush's debt in 4 years when bush was in office for eight. And it depends on the congress to not just the president. The congress has been democratically controlled majority of the last 50 years

It matters not who is the President or who is in power in Congress. So long as the Federal Reserve controls the money supply and determines the interest rate, the business cycle will continue.
