Somewhat of a deceiving title, but I wasn't sure how else to word it. Below you will find a very brief analysis of both VoG and CE in relation to someone's Light Level. This is predominantly for new raiders, so that they can better place their LFG based upon their level.
VoG Normal:
> Optimum level: 28
> Acceptable level range: 26-32
> The majority of the raid is level 26, but the final encounter will have several elite level 28 enemies.
VoG Hard:
> Optimum level: 30 w/ VoG gloves
> Acceptable level range: 29-32
> The entire encounter, outside of actually opening the vault, will contain level 30 enemies
> I suggest VoG raid gloves because they offer "Anti-Praetorian" and "Anti-Oracle" depending upon your situation
CE Normal:
> Optimum level: 32
> Acceptable level range: 30-32
> Enemies scale from 30 to 32 as you progress
> 31 Swordbearer can take down Crota just fine. A level 32 makes the encounter much easier.
CE Hard:
> Optimum level: 32
> Acceptable level range: 31-32
> Enemies scale to level 33
> 32 Swordbearer absolutely necessary.

I would recommend adding basic equipment / weapon requirements: VoG Normal - Primary above 250 ATK - 248+ ATK special / heavy (recommended that one of which is void) VoG Hard - Atheon's Epilogue or Vision of Confluence with Oracle Disruptor at minimum; other primary greater than 300 ATK - 280+ ATK Special and Heavy, 1 of which MUST be void (unless 300+ ATK Rockets) CE Normal - All weapons at or above 300 ATK CE Hard - All weapons @331 (exclude Fatebringer, VoC should be replaced by now sorry) - Tracking rocket launcher @ 331 ATK - 1 helmet piece that regens health
