Anybody remember the Valhalla map from Halo 3 and Halo 4? Since The Taken King lacks vehicle maps, and the one vehicle map introduced in The Dark Below (Skyshock) wasn't the best, I thought that maybe Bungie should take a look at some of their old work and add a new vehicle map to the mix.
I was thinking this could be a free addition to the Crucible rotation in Combined Arms; added via a patch, so that everyone can have it.
Here's what I envisioned the map being like:

Armageddon - Maat Mons, Venus
Description: Following rumors that the twin spires in this curious gorge were somehow connected to the Vault of Glass, a team of Guardians were dispatched to investigate... but were never heard from again. After further investigation failed to turn up evidence as to the purpose of the spires or the fate of the lost Guardians, Shaxx claimed the gorge for the Crucible.
Layout, Ammo, and Vehicles: Pretty much identical to the original Valhalla, but fine-tuned to suit Destiny's style of gameplay. Vehicles include a three Pikes, one outside each base, and another next to the wreckage of a crashed Fallen Skiff (in place of the crashed Pelican in the Halo version), as well as an Interceptor which spawns in the center of the map just across the stream from the central hill, directly opposite the crashed Skiff.
There are two turrets on the map, on at each base, along with man-cannons (similar to those found on Crossroads) which can quickly transport players to the center of the map, or to an area to the right side of their base, just like Valhalla. Heavy Ammo spawns are located inside the caves on either side of the crashed Skiff, at the cave entrance closer to the bases. Special ammo spawns can be found near the Skiff, on the side of the central hill, and nestled among the rocks in front of each base.
Finally, the map's aesthetics are meant to resemble Venus, similar to Shores of Time, with Vex architecture in place of the Forerunner architecture found on Valhalla.
In Control, Zones A and C spawn on top of each of the bases. Zone B is located on top of the hill. In Rift, the Spark would spawn in the same location as Zone B, and the Rifts would spawn on top of each base.
This map would also introduce a new vehicle called Martyr; the Martyr is a Hive aircraft similar to the Phaeton in Halo 5. It's a wedge-shaped vehicle armed with a powerful Void beam (not unlike the Eye Blast power used by Hive Ogres). One of these may spawn outside each base. Though it packs some serious firepower, it is lightly-armored, and can be easily destroyed by machine guns, rocket launchers, or the Interceptor's missiles if you're not careful.

That's all I got for now. Let me know what you think. I really want to see some new vehicle maps in Destiny; I really love the Pike and the Interceptor, and I think my idea for a new Hive aircraft would be awesome to have as well. Combined arms could use a little more variety when it comes to maps.

How dare you taint Halo with Destiny.
