This isn't a vote. I'm curious to know what each of you thinks was the best new game released this year. That excludes remakes, remasters, ports, whatever.
Personally, I had the most fun with Overwatch. Haven't enjoyed a competitive multiplayer-focused shooter this much since... probably Left 4 Dead.
You?
If it were a vote, TF2 would win with 28 votes so far, and Overwatch a close second on 24. Like I said, though, not a vote - if gaming were a democracy, FIFA/Madden or Call of Duty would win all the time.
Edited by ALIAS-F4LS: 12/18/2016 10:12:46 AMConsidering the only reason I stop playing Dark Souls 3 is because someone really wants to play together on another game, I have to give it to DS3.

My most memorable games from this year- 1) Gears 4 - my favorite game series came out strong with a great campaign & I can't seem to stop playing Horde. Already re-uped 4 times. 2) Titanfall 2 - Loved the first Titanfall & add in a new campaign with already great MP and I am happy ( at least till someone develops a proper Robotech game) 3) Inside - this game was Mesmerizing. Strange yet beautiful world with good but not overly difficult puzzles and not a single load screen. 4) The Witcher 3 Blood & Wine - How CDPR can make a $20 dlc that is better than 95% of $60 full release campaigns is beyond me. The art was breathtaking at times and the story was second to none. The Witcher 3 is still the best game this generation. Honorable mention - Telltale games. I really love a good story and Telltale always delivers.

Titanfall 2. Campaign was great for an FPS. The game overall is such an improvement over the sequel. Losing a match doesnt mean you canr have fun. Titan and pilots gameplay is like being david vs goliath or a cat chasing a mouse. Pilot gameplay specifically is so smooth, and encourages wall running. Overall is kinda my game of the year. Its great all around to be honest.

I'd be alright with Overwatch, but I would have to say Titanfall 2. I've had so much fun with it.
-
For me it's Titanfall 2 or Pokemon Sun/Moon
-
There's been a lot of great games this year. My favourites are Doom, Titanfall 2 and Gears 4.
-
My favorite game was DOOM (2016). Honorable Mentions: Inside Quantum Break ReCore (admittedly, I haven't finished it) Watch Dogs 2 (haven't finished this one either)

Edited by TB: 12/18/2016 1:17:11 AMBest: Overwatch and Doom Worse: probably Rise of Iron (more of an expansion than a game), it was so pathetically awful and flat. No real worthwhile content.
-
If Blood and Wine counts then I pick it. Otherwise it's Dark souls III and Uncharted 4 following closely behind it.

Edited by ForgottenAwoken: 12/16/2016 9:40:06 AMMy personal favorites would be titanfall 2 or gears of War 4 *edit* to be honest, I don't give a rats patooty what people call goty. If it looks like it's something I like, I get it. If not, I dont. A tag like "goty" isn't going to change that.
-
Uncharted 4 woot woot.
-
Superhot

I only bought a few games this year but out of those I bought I vote overwatch
