Ok I know alot of people want TLW to get a Catalyst. Especially now Thorn has one, I think it's fair for TLW to be a good challenge to Thorn. My goal with this idea is to
A. Keep the cowboy feel to the gun
B. Make it some what effective in PvE
C. Make it still stable in PvP just more fun to use
D. Use some of the lore for it as well ( cause it has the best story in the game)
I want for the gun to have a Memento Mori kind of idea buy for only one shot. So you need a kill and reload to start the perk. Your first shot in the TLW will shoot a very weak 6 shot Golden Gun shot. I was thinking it should cause Scorched debuff and only do about 1 to 2 two ticks of burning. I think the shot should do about 90 dmg which is 10 dmg above a regular TLW shot.( I'm not new to D2 but if Scorched does something differently than burn, that's not what I mean, if it does then just the burn effect.) For that one shot, it should only add 1/4 of the original TLW range. If the gun is stowed it should be lost and you have to start all over. I think it's a good idea but I might be bit bias and I want to hear everyone thoughts. Here what the perk should look like.
Perk:
First to shoot, last to speak
Reloading after a kill load magazine with one weak golden gun shot. Golden gun shot will Scorch and burn targets. If gun is stowed, perk will be lost.
Please read the whole thing before giving me your thoughts...
P.S. I know people think it should turn into the first curse but I feel it takes away from the cowboy feel and the lore.
