For all of you people that are discussing this retarded topic and who are all quick to defend this 'innocent' little child.
Number one: Kid is too -blam!-ing young to be playing destiny.
Number two: Kid thought he was going to get away with cheating.
Number three: Kid was going to violate terms and cheat the system.
Number four: Your not innocent just because your a young kid.
You guys need to look at the facts before you assume that Kermit is the bad guy here. Tbh, id do the same -blam!-ing thing Kermit did. Guess what, not only did it teach the little kid a life lesson that if you cheat on ANYTHING there WILL be consequences. And some sense of -blam!-ing morality.
Thank you, had to get this off my chest.
Edit 1: yall so salty lmao
Edit 2: were trending now ;)
Edit 3 (Important): people listen please, this thread was simply so I could let people know that there is good to be taken from this situation. Kermit may be an asshole and may have no sense of morals. But this young kid can really take a life lesson from this. If you need the lesson to be explained then hats your problem. Before you try to discourage me and insult me and Kermit right away. Think about it please. I'm not trying to offend anyone. And I'm open to respond to valid arguments.

Give it a rest. This topic is old and does not need to be brought up anymore. Bungie will not do anything about it at this point nor will PSN so go talk about something else.

Wow. I had to scroll much farther than I would've expected to get to this, the first Kirmit-related post on the list. I thought the nonsense might have actually died out... But then again, my report button was getting kinda lonely, so thanks :)

kid is too young for destiny but he wasn't the only one to violate terms. Kermit restricted the kid from enjoying the service. Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded. Impersonate any other individual or entity. Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Services. Violate any code of conduct or other guidelines which may be applicable for any particular Communication Service.

It's the kids parents fault if they didn't teach them anything about the internet or internet safety. It's the kids fault for trusting strangers online.

Kids are unable to give consent to anything. They are protected from responsibility because, well, they are kids. Adults bear the full responsibility of how they treat kids. No exceptions. Pop quiz: can you think of other situations where adults take advantage of a child's worldly inexperience and poor decision making abilities? Would you blame the children in those situations too? Thankfully, there are situations that don't compare in seriousness to this one but the same principles apply. I'm not saying the child, in this particular situation, should, somehow, regain their game data or benefit from the attempt to cheat but the staggering lack of compassion and sympathy for a child from this community is disgusting. The blame lands squarely on this Kermit pr!ck.

All of you guys have this completely wrong. The kid did not deserve it because he was intending to cheat, he deserved it because he placed trust in a complete stranger. The lesson to be learned is not that cheating has consequences, it is to not place so much trust in a stranger. I already knew that this community was dense, but damn.

Sense! You've got it.

I haven't heard anything about the boy's father. He Probly has one mom who has to whore herself out which means she got him the system to keep him busy.
