This cut story Vs. Con Theories

I decided to explore the storyline of Destiny a few weeks back. In some ways, I wish I hadn't. There doesn't seem to be many other Lore Fans, let alone any who don't instantly bring up the fact that, the main storyboard guy Left / Got fired / isn't here anymore, then state the storyline no longer matters. What I view and have enter my brain matters to me, personally. I consciously process all content of videogames, and this reminded me, in too many ways of a certain Conspiracy Theory. Now, if it had been a dismissible theory, i would act accordingly. I would have dismissed it. While I don't know the overall name for this theory, it involves a man named John Dee, creatures called over souls, and some... Entity, or group of " things ", that use humans as slaves. When I say dismissible ( if it isn't already to most People ), I mean that, it is presented with logic, and historically recorded material. This isn't from over zealous, emotional presenters with no evidence or proof. I would say RE: Alex Jones... But i haven't got a conclusion for him yet. Maybe he is just " Patriotic ". Anyway, this was how I got to the eerie similarities between the two. I could get past " The Traveler " being wounded on our planet, having being chased by other alien forces. It's defiantly feasible for any storyline. It's when you get the extra, similar words, and ideas, that I question. In the conspiracy theory, there is a being, or race of beings that were being chased. Much like the traveler. In the Theory, Humans serve those said beings. In game, we serve the Traveler. Now... The humans in the theory, is where it gets interesting. There was a version before us created to serve the higher powers. However, they became too powerful, unyielding. Just the worst aspects for a Slave. This is conveyed via many old world religious tales. The most symbolic ( and by no means limited to... ) Fallen Angels. The similarity is within the grimoire cards ( this as well... It just makes me question why they are named grimoire cards, especially if you know it's names origins ). The Fallen are meant to be, a race utilized for the " Light " by the traveler. No longer. I then stumbled upon a legends card for the black garden. If you don't have this card, it will be on google somewhere. In the Theory, humans are believed to be mentally rent. Never finding peace, and always searching purpose, easily guided by others. In that grimoire card, a " Ghost " refers to you as " a dead thing " that kills, and will only know killing. It's interesting to me more than anything else, as I can't think of a more fitting term for a subconsciously thinking slave than dead. There are also occultist and ancient religions that refer to such mental loss to be " the death of the soul ". Then is john dee in the Theory... He summoned a.... Ethereal, being called an " Oversoul ". It offered esoteric knowledge to him. And what else would it ask for but... Blood. So, I found it questionable, why the Oversoul is summoned when a player dies. Why did it have to be written in the same terminology as John Dee. Crota Summons his Oversoul. There is a lot more similarities, And some key factors missing, at the same time. I am more than a little confident that this storyline has been plagiarised... Or rather, based off Conspiracy Theories. To boot... If you were a Conspiracy fan / believer / reader, whatever... The writer leaving brings up more questions. Many, even. I'll leave you with a piece of useless information... Useless because without context around it, you get no insight. In all ancient times, " The Traveler " referred to the Sun God, just as he entered into the Underworld.
