Because players are now able to Re-Forge weapons, materials become surprisingly scarce now. Hurrah that Motes of Light are so much easier to obtain with the help of Shards and Energy (and even Strange Coins), however, once we run out of Weapons Parts or even Hadronic Essence, Sapphire Wire, or Plasteel Plating for gear, it then becomes a grind again to obtain such materials, because the only way to obtain them is by hoping you find an engram with the materials included by dismantling. [u][b]What I would like to see is a way to purchase materials from vendors in the Tower.[/b][/u] For example: ―　Weapon Parts can be purchased at the Gunsmith. ―　Hadronic Essence can be purchased at the Warlock Vanguard OR Guardian Outfitter. ―　Sapphire Wire can be purchased at the Hunter Vanguard OR Guardian Outfitter. ―　Plasteel Plating can be purchased at the Titan Vanguard OR Guardian Outfitter. As of now, I am fighting against the lack of Weapon Parts due to Re-Forging, and it's painful playing a game hoping that an engram I pick up is a weapon for me to dismantle. Buying weapons to dismantle from the Gunsmith is also painful because of the cost of weaponsbeing a bit high and all that glimmer quickly disappears.
