what if one part was a dead end room with a pressure plate. Once everyone was standing on it, everyone would be teleported to a different starting point of a pitch black maze with only your ghost for light. Each person had to get through the maze to the center where another pressure plate is located. The maze will be filled with thrall that can only find you by hearing or smell if you're too close. When you are alone your light is weak, so every time a thrall hits you, you gain x1 weight of darkness and x1 diminished light (reduced damage output). The walls of the maze are covered in shelves, which if you are accurate enough, you can jump from shelf to shelf without jump ability. (once you have weight of darkness this is near impossible) also the shelves may be out of the range of your ghosts light so you would have to take a good guess. Once to the center you can choose to wait and defend the plate from waves of enemies, or you can go help your friends by finding them in their mazes and getting them back. When close together the light of your fellow guardians removes weight of darkness and gives a x1 abundant light buff (increased damage output). Then once all six are gathered in the middle, they have to defend all sides at once while charging the plate to teleport you out of the maze again. During this time you will have a x6 abundant light buff for all the allies in the area. This is just something I think I would find fun, maybe not everyone would because kindergaurdians would get absolutely butchered, but hey that's when the first few to make it to the middle would go on rescue missions to retrieve them! Imagine a large hexagonal room with a pathway leading each direction with the plate in the middle. Now imagine the epicness of everyone finally getting to the middle and all stand on the plate. "The Darkness Summons it's minions" appears. And hordes of thrall and acolytes and knights flood out of the doors you all just came from. The air would fill with colorful language as hammers and lightning and nova bombs and arrows and hurl everywhere creating so many orbs that supers are all you use the whole fight. When it is all over everyones heart is racing and you just want to do it again!
