I don't know if I ever ran across you in the crucible, but if I did, and if you Thorned me, I promise I cursed you out for being an effing thorn fag...but, I curse out anyone who kills me. :) Man, you want to dust off the ole year 1 weapons? Screw what anyone else thinks...those are your guns that you earned, and if makes the lil sissies that currently patrol the crucible cry...even better. My year 1 set up was Thorn, the OG Felwinters, and the Hunger of Crota, you make me want to pull all of them out of the vault.

While I don't like Thorn or its DoT, I don't care if people use it. The gun I have an issue with more is The Last Word and it's ridiculous current overuse. It feels like it's back in the HoW days. This community is so broken and distraught over weapons that kill them. People get sour because they die to a gun they don't own, or that they get killed by someone better than them. I get mad on occasion about getting utterly stomped because of SBMM in the 3v3 and 2v2 playlists. I don't like the small playlists. I prefer lots of enemies. The chaos is fun. But I don't message people over a gun. However, I've gotten hate mail because of Necrochasm (only recently since I've only had it for a couple weeks. That darn crux..) and some other weapons before TTK. But I think it just shows the immaturity of the people who send the messages. It's one reason why I don't like the PvP portion of the game and try to avoid it. Every now and then, I get a burn for wanting to shoot some Guardians, but like I said, I play the big playlists. The smaller ones are where I run into the most competitive, overly sensitive, immature people. I've seen more disgraceful acts (like t-bagging) in the smaller playlists than I have in the bigger ones. I can understand being competitive, but they really need to balance weapons just a bit better and make a social playlist alongside standard crucible playlists. Like a ranked and an unranked. SBMM priority in ranked and non SBMM in the social. But I digress... Too many people get upset over stuff they need not. Too many immature people run amok in crucible. It's sad.

I wont tell anyone what weapon they cant you. But there was something that i am neutral on. In a way this is true. If the weapon, icebreaker in this case, still kills a 315+ with 1 hit is kinda stupid. Why are there light levels then? This doesnt effect me personally since i dont like sweaty game modes. But it just raised a eyebrown so to speak. In normal crucible, light is turned off. So that it kills there in 1 hit is normal. You can even use white weapons and still be good.

Did encouter a lot of last switches to icebreaker..[/quote] Thorn isn't the most op weapon anymore. Everyone is still hurting I guess from year 1, but thorn does now have plenty of counters to it. Any weapon that fires faster then it (necrochasm, mida, tlw, bad juju, doctrine of passing) will shred thorn users. If you keep your shots on target. And if you use mida , you pretty much are guaranteed a win. Mida shoots way faster then it, has high caliber rounds to stagger the guy with thorn, and it increase you speed making it that much harder to hit you. If the meta was slower I would understand, thorn is a gun that would do well in a slower pace meta, were there not that many weapons that fire faster then you can blink. I'm not saying thorn isn't a pain to deal with, just saying there are ways to beat a thorn user

Used thorn for the bounty, I actually hate the gun. I got like two or three kills with it one game and about eight with my sniper. Got the message "get a life thorn user"' and I replied that I coulda used TLW if he would have liked. And he said fine TLW can't 3 shot kill. I replied no...but it only took one shot from my sniper to dome you. And then he just replies ya good point. Wtf is the point of sending a message if you're just gonna give in lol.
