I'm not extremely salty about the nerf to Sunsingers, I'm just disappointed to see a subclass that wasn't even "out performing other classes" being nerfed pretty badly.
VF + Firebolts pre-nerf was a bit unfair in PVP, however, this subclass is now almost useless in PVE too. Sure, VF + Firebolts made "frustrating encounters", but you know what else is frustrating? Having 1 usable grenade, and a super which consists of two abilities on a shorter cool down.
Personally, I think Radiance should grant the pre-patch effects of VF when active, or other support perks, such as increased recovery for nearby allies, when Radiance is active. Also, I am aware that Sunsinger is meant to be a support role, yet the only perks which seem to benefit teams are Fireborn and Song of Flame (which isn't much use in end game content, in my opinion) Even as a support role, Sunsingers feel pretty useless in endgame content, even with Self res.

What it needs right now is a few adjustments to certain perks. --Solar Grenades need to be brought up to Vortex Grenade strength --Sunburst needs to do more than just granting an Orb of Light on Scorch kills; something along the lines of increasing the size of the explosion caused by Solar Grenade, Brimstone, and Fusion Grenade --Brimstone needs an increase in the explosive radius on kill, or the ability to blind/disorient nearby enemies with the explosion --Solar Wind needs a drastic increase to its knock-back effect, and possibly the ability to push several nearby enemies at once --Viking Funeral's Debuff effect needs to be 10% per stack, or 20% and no stack, for 5-7 seconds --Song of Flame should grant a 10-15% damage increase to you and your allies' abilities in addition to speeding up their cooldowns --Radiant Skin should grant increased armor to your allies while granting increased damage resistance to yourself

if you look at the graph that was released explaining the nerf to gunslingers and bladedancers, The sunsingers were at the bottom above defenders. People cried about them, even though they were not good already, so they nerfed them. It really is dissapointing.

I think Viking Funeral should have just been replaced by some type of evade move. This way Warlock would have an evade as well and it would actually a perk worth using especially with Angel of light.

I think the best thing would be to bring the Sunsinger back and just replace VF with a evade ability. I think the burn was a bit too long but there should be a worthwhile new perk instead of it.

That destroyed the SOLAR GRENADES too. I was happily using it then came the nerf and now is complete trash.

what i thought they should have done was have the burn do 7 damage without the extended time, then with the extended time do 3.5 per tick, so it doesn't burn people to death and do crap loads of damage but does prevent health regen for a long time, which in my opinion supports the team pretty well

I would be okay with the changes if they simply reverted some of the other nerfs. Give firebolt it's range and delay back. Give Flameshield it's recharge time back. Give fireborn it's activation time back.

What if they reduced the tik damage of Viking funeral to one, added a damage boost of 20% from all damage sources and let the burn tik for 13 sec, that way it isn't doing much damage with burn but opens a longer opportunity for the damage boost to be useful and you can see them through walls

Bungie works with numbers. Just switch to any other subclass. Stormcaller are good shotgun rushers and void Walker is a good sniper with N.manacles that can stop ppl coming at ya blink to slip away. Sunsingers have lost its usefulness. I feel bad for strikers who will get nerfed because of crybabies.

I don't think VK during radiance is enough. Cut burn time in half, 3/4, all together, I don't care just give us back our power. Fusion grenades are fun for a while but it gets old missing or watching them fall off... very inconsistent and frustrating game play
