I personally would like to see a new lifetime milestones area under the "quests" tab that would show how many kills you have on each enemy, each weapon, and each planet (I know you can view this online, but it would be nice to see stuff like that in-game). Then get rewarded for reaching certain milestones like every X amount of kills and get a guaranteed legendary. would be a nice surprise if you don't expect it or give people something they can work towards. would be nice if the challenges were infinite and maybe receive special rewards for certain milestones.
