I came here to talk about my problem, not because I want all of you to feel sorry for me but because I need to start changing. Yes, I reload too often and I have come to terms with who I am and am ready to fight for a new me. It's a serious problem you see, every single time I'm done pew pewing I hit the X button. Even if I only shoot one bullet I reload and it gets me killed more often than I'd like to admit. Please. Help me get over this terrible habit I beg you. its an addiction and sooner or later it's going to lead to sprinting around every corner.... DON'T FALL INTO THIS TERRIBLE CHASM. BE READY FOR EVERY ENCOUNTER YOU GET YOURSELF INTO. DON'T GET CAUGHT WITH YOUR PANTS DOWN
and no magazine in your gun
Thank you all for your time. Now excuse me as I stare at my motion sensor and fall off the map.
Edit 1: About the Author
Punisher24689 was an avid year 1 destiny player. He was there when Xur sold Gjallerhorn for the first time but thought why "spend strange coins on a stupid rocket launcher". His first love was The Last Word, "dude this thing makes me look like a -blam!-ing cowboy g'damn" and it remained a faithful firearm until the end. Problems started when he received a Fatebringer. It's outlaw perk led to quick reloads - and lots of them. He became a frequent reloader with other weapons, fearing paranoia of not having enough bullets to kill that one hunter who keeps blinking all over the place. He was able to manage Trials of Osiris well, using the Y-09 Longbow Synthesis to SNIPE THE -blam!- OUT OF THOSE REVIVES WHOO unfortunately he got into the habit after reloading only after one shot. Coming from an extensive Halo and Battlefield background, punisher had it ingrained in his mind to press the reload button after every kill or kills. Using quick reloading weapons helped but it wasn't enough from saving him running into a blueberry with an autorifle who filled his face with bullets. In one fateful Trials match, punisher faced two opponents with both his teammates down on the other side of the map. Quickly dispatching of one enemy and then hitting the other with his favorite sniper he was confident in a one hit kill with his Jewel of Osiris. We could say that hubris was his downfall, as he put one shot into he thought he would have gotten the kill and instinctively reloaded. He lost the match.
Literally haven't played in a year. I just really like these forums.
Be honest. Have you been reloading lately?
-
It's even worse with the jade rabbit/supercell/bad juju. You fire off 8-20 shots and go to reload only to find your only missing one shot....
-
Hi I'm punisher24689 and this is my pawn shop. But for real I am the same I have that problem

You must have been the guardian I faced on shores of time the other day--oh what a dance we had. He stood at B flag all by his lonesome, his eyasluna ready and waiting. I, the ever rushing ingrate, made to attack. From my position on the stairs behind the corner to the hall to B flag I waited for the opportune moment. (I, also, with my eyasluna ready) To my left an enemy assault, three shots and I laid him down [reload] A shot hits from my right. The B flag master has taken a pot shot at me. [He reloads] I fired two quick shots in his direction (missed) and returned to my corner [reload] I peaked toward B flag and a shot whizzed by my head [he reloads] I shadestep from cover and take three wild shots, two land, one registers [reload] As I sprint for cover two shots penetrate my shoulder armor [he reloads] Still he sits on my radar and I decide to chance tactics. Like a bunny version of Rambo I leap from cover, once, twice, landing in the center of the hallway, I take dead aim at his head and fire four shots. I shadestep behind the nearest wall [reload] He has disappeared from my radar, I await my advancing team hoping they will provide respite from this dance. Their help does not come. They have all gone to attack A. I decide enough of this silliness, I sprint from cover, shadestep the right, in one fluid motion readying my Saladin's vigil to disintegrate the B flag master. There he stands, on the flag itself firing wildly at me, shots are missing and going phantom and still I charge. I position myself perfectly, take aim at his feet, and...
have no shot because I haven't reloaded my special. Saladin weeps

His teammate appears behind me and matadors me into oblivion
[Reload]

I'm addicted to pooping. I've done it everyday, for my whole life. I just can't stop. I need serious help. So much so, I am pooping as I type this. Please help me!

Glass Half Full is a useless perk for me.
-
I have a worse problem. I try to reload forgetting that I just reloaded... god, help us all...
-
I'm addicted to farming packages, I never get the right roll, so I keep farming and farming.

Modifié par Psykotik556 : 11/25/2016 5:12:56 PMNothing wrong with reloading often so long as you're in a good spot to do so. Get a kill, scan the area around you, once you know the immediate vicinity is clear, pop in a fresh mag, better to be absolutely sure you house enough ammo for the next firefight than chance not having enough, especially when the chances of missing the target are high. So my advice to you (even though they don't make you manually reload all of your magazines....which would be awesome) PRACTICE MODERATION. As with all addicts who want to improve youve admitted the problem, the next step to smart reloading is to cut back alittle as you go, moderation pal. It just works.

Deej has issues not reloading, so your issue isn't one.
-
I think I know how to solve your problem.
-
I have the same problem.
-
If you're addicted to reloading you should check out Titanfall 2. Game is lit.
-
But what if I don't reload for that one bullet in a 60 bullet magazine, and the guy I'm shooting at has just the tiniest bit of health when I have to reload the empty mag. Those countless deaths while reloading are worth having that last bullet to finish him off, even if it will only happen once.
-
There something called reload gauntlets
-
Lmao this is me...tho i began finding better reloading areas to keep safe...i feel u tho...if i fire 1 bullet and there's no obvious action...im reloading... CUZ IMA LOADER 🎶 IMA LOADER 🎶 IMA LOADER 🎶

Help me I've been suffering since Brute Force and Halo Combat Evolved... .-.
-
Worst addiction ever. Instead of sprinting to cancel the reload and end up running around a corner and dying from it, try just double tapping y/triangle
-
Wow I never realized so many others share my addiction.
-
Gears of War gave me this addiction, every fps I play now... I reload, even after 1 round fired.
-
I can relate, like seriously. Even when I didn't shoot any bullet, I check by pressing the reload button. Even when I am being chased by a shotgun, I stop and reload then I die.
-
Now happens to me in Titanfall and Overwatch Titanfall: WHERE IS MY OUTLAWWWWW AAAAAAA Overwatch: OH GOD WHY DID I DO THAT I CAN'T CANCEL AAAAAA
-
Hi everyone, my name is lerch and i reload my badjuju after kills.
yep
Modifié par GrayWulf25 : 11/25/2016 10:37:26 PMWelcome Punisher, to Reloaders Anonymous. You are in a safe place. Remember there is no cure but there is a solution..and the solution is DEEJ patrol It's not easy to go on patrol like DEEJ, get stuck in trees, fall off the map and get trapped in areas you are never supposed to be. BUT he never ever reloads. Just lets the game do it for him. And one day if you follow the 12 Steps of DEEJ, you too can recover from reload addiction. Keep coming back!

This is me, 100%
