Anthem fans are upset because the Metacritic score for Anthem is around 60%. I don't mean just one review like that awful GameSpot review of Destiny that gave it a lower score than Murdered: Soul Suspect. I mean the average of all reviews so far are 61% with no sign of climbing. Fans feel bad and are antagonist towards all game media. I have a solution: a Metacritic for the fans. All games with fans will have a 100 Metacritic score.
Are there fans of Rock Revolution? Probably one or two so it gets a 100 Metacritic score!
Does anyone like Aliens: Colonial Marines? You bet, 100!
Fallout '76? Someone is playing it, so also 100.
Knack? If we could go above 100, we would.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5? Top of the leaderboard with 100.
Anthem? Of course it gets 100.
I'll send details of my Kickstarter just as soon as I can secure the rights to the Metacritic name.

Modifié par SpongyMallard7 : 2/23/2019 5:00:57 PMIf you like Anthem, that's fine, but just respect other people's opinion if they don't like it. Can we all stop complaining about YouTubers and streamers and just enjoy stuff we like without getting angry about people liking and disliking different games. People have different tastes, that's why there are different genres of any form of media.

Game is dead.

Modifié par Uncanny_Vale : 2/23/2019 8:47:33 PMCan anyone name me a “live service” looter shooter that didn’t launch broken? Having played a fair bit of anthem now I would tend to agree with the reviews. I would give it a 7/10. The core gameplay is fun and the story is pretty good. But there’s just too many quality of life things that bring the game down. I don’t actually think it’s that far off being a really decent game. Fix the bugs, add some new features, fix some existing ones and add some more content. Honestly though I think gamers are tired of games releasing in an unfinished state. It’s really disrespectful to the consumer to expect someone to buy an unfinished product. If it’s not finished don’t sell it. What other product does that?

Modifié par Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds : 2/25/2019 4:29:11 PMI’m not. I admit it’s not amazing, but I am having fun with it. The real test will be of longevity.

I have enjoyed low metric games before nothing new.

Don't forget Battleborn... poor, poor Battleborn...

Yeah my friend started a hate rally against me saying I was just hating on the game to get them to play destiny again (which I also dislike) even though I was stating problems he has literally had in game

1. I stopped listening to professional critics years ago. Got roped into too many bad experiences that were critically cheered by hipsters. Missed out on other good experiences that were panned for the same reason. 2. Metacritic is useless for games because of the adolescent tendency to want to rating-bomb a game when they mad about something unrelated or intentionally want to damage a game. Problem was so out of control on Steam a few years ago, the whole game rating system had to be changed.

I’ve been playing and enjoying games for over two decades. Never heard of metacritic.

Reviews, ratings are just opinions. I didn't like the Witcher 3, RDR2 or AC3 when I first got them. I shelved them for a bit and when I went back and played more than a couple of hours. They were really good games. Some games I like immediately and some there seems to be a learning curve or you just need to build your skill tree to enjoy.

I personally like Anthem, so I don't care about it's metacritic rating at all. But, there's no way to know how many of the people reviewing it are people that have actually played the game and how many of them are internet trolls that are just trashing the game because they need to sheople up and follow the internet trend of the week.

I liked colonial marines...Michael Biehn needs to eat.

I mean, I've bought Anthem, and I had a feeling this'd happen. Its funny watching the people who overhyped themselves get pissed off and some of them even have to accept it wasnt what they thought it was lol
