So, I Have a 0 Power Traveler's Chosen (Damaged) in My Vault... Should I Keep It?

I'm not complaining or anything. Having a 0 power weapon to access is a first for me, not even a problem. If I want a Traveler's Chosen at a higher power, I can just pull one out of Collections. But... Is it a bad thing to have one with 0 power? If I take this gun out, is it going to work? Should I keep it as a treasure? Haven't heard much about 0 power gear lately other than some issue new players had recently that I read up about on Bungie's post, but I'm not a new player. Not gonna touch it until I hear or see something about this. I can leave it in there forever if I have to. Does it even do damage? @_@

  • It's a small issue that happened when Shadowkeep released. This bug also applied to other starter gear like the starter Stubborn Oak, and the damaged armor. I also kept those, and I can level myself down to 99 Light when I wear them and a 750 heavy. :D It's funny, but doesn't really impact gameplay. You can play some of the old patrols just fine, as the old light level seem to still apply there. That also means that anything that is 100 light above yours becomes immune. The weapon itself still does damage, but quite low damage in higher light regions. It's really funny in PvP though.
