it depends on your point of view and what you value. Ana is the most intelligent Hunter. Shin is the most infamous, a slayer of corrupt Lightbearers. Cayde's legacy is his mercy, which is what ultimately got him killed. He could have slain the Barons but instead he took them to the Prison of Elders when he caught them. He let them live, and the result? They killed him when they got loose. I don't know much about the others listed.

I kinda forgot that Ana was a hunter. If she’s evacuating mars then maybe she’s gonna be the next hunter vanguard? Idk. Just thinking. Would be kinda cool. She could be useful to the vanguard by having experience with Rasputin and the fact that she has worked with them last season.

Not that deep into the Lore, but what about Tevis? The Hunter that owed Cayde-6 glimmer and died on that Venus story mission in which we got our Void Subclass, was he any cool?

it’s definitely shin. aside from us, he is considered as the most powerful hunter and guardian. the vanguard and the entire guardian race are afraid of him. It doesn’t matter who you are and how powerful you are. if you fall into darkness completely. he would definitely come for you.

I don't think there IS an ironclad, indisputable "greatest hunter". You hear some stories about some hunters doing cool things, but nothing on the same caliber that S14 and Osiris have done.

Ana should not even be a candidate. She’s one of the weakest hunters. There’s no awe to her name whatsoever. She’s just rasputin’s cleaning lady. Top hunter is clearly Andal Brask or the Man with the Golden Gun.
