The Navigator. The Heir. And I am coming home. I lower the sails as my ship drifts into the harbor. I quickly stash the sails and rope in a compartment below, so the rain doesn't dissolve it, like it did with my other set. When I get out of my ship, Sathona is waiting anxiously. "Sister, you have been gone for too long. Two whole years, and now a quarter of your life is gone." Sathona says calmly. "I had important things to do. Did you get my [url=https://www.ishtar-collective.net/cards/calcified-fragments-curiosity#the-fundament]message[/url]?" I reply as I tie the ship down. "Of course. Our species really isn't native to Fundament? How can you be so sure?" "The continents. They're pieces of our home world. Even the Osmium Court. Not only that, but I have learned about something called the Moon Wave, but I think it's best to wait to tell Xi Ro." Sathona leads me to our home, where the Osmium King dwells. Our father. "Father missed you. I was hoping you would return soon… father turned ten years old a few days ago. I'm not sure how much longer he has." Sathona wants the throne more than I do, however I am next in line. I would give her the role, she would be a great Queen, but it doesn't work like that. The Osmium Court is covered in large dwellings, housing our species. Our home stands in the middle watching over it. When we enter, Xi Ro awaits. "Aurash! You're home! Father wants to see you. Also I wanted to [url=https://www.ishtar-collective.net/cards/i-predators#books-of-sorrow]ask you something.[/url]" Xi Ro exclaimes. "Of course. After that I will share with you my discoveries." Xi Ro leads me through to the Kings Throne. In the hallway I pass by Taox, my former teacher. "Aurash! I did not know you would be coming home so soon." She clutches a letter in her hand, and I see the stamp of the Helium Court, before she hides it with her hand. "What's the [url=https://www.ishtar-collective.net/cards/ii-the-hateful-verse#books-of-sorrow]letter[/url] for?" I ask, being as calm as I can. Xi Ro looks at me. "Oh, just King's business. Well I must be going! Bye princesses." Taox quickly shuffles away. "Come on! Fathers waiting." Xi Ro urges me along until we come face to face with the Osmium Throne, with my father on top of it. I bow, and Xi Ro follows suit. "My daughter, I have long awaited for you to come home." He raises his arms with a white worm to his head. I sigh. Sathona has told me that he was talking to this dead worm.  "What's that? Yes, I know you were waiting too." "Father, I am tired from my journeys. What is it you wanted to tell me?" Suddenly he starts screaming. "The Moon Waves! When all the moons align the bright one will come! The wave will wipe out our species from every continent! You must stop it! You must!!" He slumps back in his throne and Xi Ro and I stare at him. Sathona comes running, and stops at the door. "Daughter! When did you get there?" He says watching me. "Sorry, Father I need to go." I say, and Xi Ro follows me. "I told you. He's going crazy." Sathona whispers. "Crazy yes… but he also confirmed something I knew. Come sisters. I think it's time you learned what will soon come to pass." -------------------------------------------------------- Eris is right. This is a big mistake. I wait outside of the Temple of Crota, waiting for the right moment to sneak in. When the Knights turn away I sneak around the sides, slipping past them. Who said only Hunters could be stealthy? Once I'm inside, I take out the Ahamkara bone I stole from above Shaxx. He wouldn't notice… right? I take a deep breath, and make my wish. Green magic flows around me, and my skin stiffens and cracks, my robe warps and edges, and I scream as I feel intensive pain in my forehead. I fall to the ground. I get up, and the transformation is complete. I am no longer a Warlock. I'm a Wizard.
