I just recently switched over to PC, and I would like to link my PlayStation account in order to transfer my progress. When I get to the authentication process, I can easily authenticate both Steam and PlayStation, but I cannot authenticate my Xbox account (which has like no data on it anyway, so idk why I have to authenticate it anyway). I made the Xbox account at the beginning of the original Destiny when I was super young, so I don't remember the password to authenticate it. I've tried to unlink the Xbox account somehow, but it looks like I need to be able to sign into the Xbox account to do that too. Are there any ways I can fix this on my own?
I just want to transfer from PlayStation to Steam, so I'm confused why the authentication of my Xbox account is necessary in the first place.

Modifié par TuxyDoh : 9/16/2022 8:44:15 AMGreetings! I would work with Xbox Support to change the password or troubleshoot a way to get your account access back. Additionally, there is no way to remove accounts from your Cross Save setup if you cannot authenticate them when doing the deactivating process.
Destiny Player Support and Bungie cannot modify or remove accounts linked to Bungie.net profiles. To protect player privacy and data, you must be able to log in to any linked accounts to prove ownership prior to modifying your linked account. If you no longer have access to a linked account, you will need to reach out to the specific platform’s support for assistance with account recovery options.
via the Cross Save Guide. Edit: Wrong support link!
