Hunter is way too strong and has been for the entirety of this franchise. Things that are currently way overtuned:
Smoke Bombs
Swarm Grenades
Clones
Clones
Clones
Clones
Gut these items. I don’t know who OK’d this, but they’re a moron. Hunters can control the entire map and manipulate radar, all from a distance. And if you get too close, then you’re slowed by a Dodge and one-tapped by a clone.
[b]- Clones:[/b] Clones need to be deployed over time. It shouldn’t be instant. Over the span of a few seconds they should generate, but while they’re being created they should be one shot to destroy. That way you can actually counter them, and a Hunter can’t just place one for free in the middle of a gunfight with absolutely no counter. They also shouldn’t drag aim assist and shouldn’t spawn Threadlings. There’s no reason for them to explode and chase you. One or the other.
[b]- Smoke Bombs:[/b]Smoke Bomb’s radar manipulation is very, very strong, and considering they’re small and hard to spot, they can lead to extremely free kills. The enemy can’t see, they can’t move, they’re taking heavy AoE damage, and they take bonus damage? And on top of that they have no counters? They definitely have too much.
Smoke Bombs shouldn’t even deal damage. They’re meant to disorient and ambush. Which is why I think Smoke’s shouldn’t deal damage or slow enemies, but rather create a much larger cloud of smoke that lingers, and enemies that are in it are Weakened and can’t see.
[b]- Swarm Grenades:[/b] These just shouldn’t be strong. As a grenade that literally has absolutely no counter and can’t be destroyed or stopped, there’s no reason that they should do so much damage. They need to have some kind of counter. They linger crazy long, track, deal tons of damage, and can’t be shot down?
They shouldn’t linger idle. Once you throw them, they should perform like Siva and kind of float around sporadically in a spot, and then dissipate after a few seconds. If someone is close, they should track them.

Hunter has not been "way too strong for the entirity of this franchise" OEM meta, Antaeus meta, Geomag meta, literally all of D1, bubble/well meta, original stasis meta (s12, after hunters were meta due to the nerfs to the other classes), PK meta, Lorely immortality meta, vanilla D2. Need i go on? Titans have actually been the meta more often than not and Hunters are usually only OP after Titans get their crutch piece nerfed until they find a new crutch piece. Warlocks were THE meta in D1 thanks to Stormcaller and Self Revive.

They seriously need to nerf the whole hunter class they are plaguing the crucible it’s so annoying with all the clones and smoke grenades, cage grenades, 10 second dodge cooldown with wormhusk. The whole class is overpowered and full of utility while titans and warlocks have useless abilities healing rift sucks and they make 20 exotics based around rifts.

Modifié par jmann43b : 7/26/2024 12:55:52 AMOr as an alternative, since [i]everything[/i] needs to be nerfed at any given time according to players on this forum why not make everyone use the same generic Guardian with preset loadouts and perhaps a way to allocate points to various stats, thus allowing players a modicum of control over their characters but no real way for there to be any claims of class favoritism or any weapons/abilities/classes being overpowered? This would eliminate any bleed-over into PvE.

Il never forgive bungie for killing hoil, lament , yas , sunbracers ,phoenix protocol, controverse holds ,starfire protocol, synthoceps ,hunter chest piece for double smoke bombs and damage resistance, fallen star and restoration/devour/banner builds Don't get me started on how they killed stasis titan and stasis hunter 😤

I think you can have this discussion if people agree that the first rule of fight club (crucible) is you want everyone to have a fair shot.. .. heck.. we even need Bungie to fully agree that baseline we don't desire to create total domination by a player with the right build/weapon/class etc in PVP... ...but there's seriously some twisted kiddos that are mad that they can't stomp on unfairly matched opponents.. (don't let them get to you or your fun) ...anyway Bungie stated some nerfs incoming and meanwhile we just have to adapt to what we got.. balancing classes, weapon types, abilities, supers.. is not easy +1
