Double loot emphasizes the problem with the loot system

I still can’t tell the game what I do and don’t want in my loot pool. There is too much armor. I am farming this dungeon for weapons. I don’t need 59 rolled, high mobility gear for my Titan when I’m in a full set of masterworked artifice armor. I am there to farm the weapons. And even then, I farmed for over two hours tonight and I kept less than 5 total weapons. 2 area GLs and 2 heavy GLs, none of which have the actual rolls I’m hunting, but they had one of the two perks so I’m holding them till I get something better. I’m getting very few weapons and the ones I do get have horrible rolls or they’re the fusion, which I’m also not here for. I understand that you want people to grind your game. But how long is it going to be an unrewarding grind where I’m deleting 99% of my drops. Double drops doesn’t fix this. It’s just giving me more trash to delete. Will I even want to keep playing the game after I get what I’m grinding for? Or will I be burnt out because I played the same 5 minute encounter 300 times before getting the loot I was chasing? I’m having the same experience with episodic weapons from onslaught because there isn’t crafting. With crafting, at least the hundreds of trash drops were giving me progress towards being able to make the thing I had spent hours chasing. And by then I’d already played the game plenty, if in-game hours is the metric you care about. This has been a problem for years.
