When I log in, it says that the servers aren’t available
It says that the servers aren’t available, but it’s my understanding that the servers shouldn’t be down for another 2:45 or so. Is something wrong or did I misunderstand when the servers were going down?

Bungie has already started background maintenance as per scheduled. [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049199271-Destiny-Server-and-Update-Status]you can see here[/url]. Yes, the official downtime technically starts in ~ 2.5 hours from now, but unless you're getting some kind of error would recommend to reset your connection and try again.
