For those of you who believe in anarchy, how would you enforce anarchy? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having no governing power?

There is no such thing as a true anarchist. Discuss.

Modifié par ABotelho : 1/27/2013 5:00:43 PMFrom my knowledge, anarchists aren't looking for anarchy to stay. They are looking for anarchy to arrive, so that a new government can take the place of the old one, thus basically starting with a clean slate.

There's no way to enforce pure anarchy, it's just everyone doing what they want. No law, no rule, survival of the fittest among massive, bloody chaos.
-
I don't understand anarchism. We are not able to live without government. Or order

Depends on what type of anarchy. If you're talking about something like anarcho-capitalism, then everything is enforced (in this case, contracts between sovereign individuals) by privately-operated institutions (subscription-based police forces, private courts, etc.) Of course, such a system has the same fundamental problem as true communism: it only works if everyone willingly follows it.

I doubt there are any anarchists here.

It wouldn't be 'enforced' at all.
