Crota's End Hard Mode changes and strategy

Hey guys, so I'm starting up our clan forum post of tactics that might be useful for Hard mode Crota. Anyone who see this can definitely add more or completely contradict me and I'll edit things. As far as I've seen on the forums and streams, things seem pretty straightforward and "simple" until Crota. All of the previous tactics seem to hold true as not much has changed. Play smart through the abyss and be ready for Hallowed Ogres. The primary drop here is the pulse rifle. The bridge is still the same as well, although with the hallowed enemies added. Gatekeepers seem to be larger dicks but that's what happens when it's leveled. There is cheese out there, I'm sure, but doing it legit still is possible and what I'd advise at this point. The primary drop is the auto rifle. The Deathsinger is also the same, try not to die from the adds and take the Wizards, shriekers, then witch out in the center. Seems to be the best strat is to stay in the boomer towers as much as possible. The primary drop here is the scout rifle Crota, the final encounter. You've made it this far and are definitely braver than most, or at least talented at this point (assuming no cheese). This is where the bigger changes are. The primary drop here will be Word of Crota and this is also where you can get the Crux of Crota (for neurochasm). 1) There is no chalice 2) Knights are hallowed 3) A hallowed wizard spawns if you kill the boomers, takes the place of "swinging dick" or the bridge knight. 4) A gatekeeper spawns with the swordbearer to dissuade using the middle room. I haven't seen him go up the steps yet. 5) Crota will auto enrage at a certain health; this is the most debated thing I've seen thus far, people saying it's 10%, other's yelling it's 25%, and other even saying 20%. Just know he will enrage when he's almost dead. The best strategy I've seen so far is encapsulated in this forum post/video I found http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/94295775/0/0 Bungie may buff the boomers range but this seems to work. Apparently the sword person hugged the walls until he was up swinging at Crota I don't have many new strategies to offer because I'm only level 31, but all you who are running it please input what you saw and how best to attack it in your opinion Edit 1: Lonewolf brought up the point of possible health regens. There are ways to regen your health while fighting Crota. For hunters, there is the hungering blade perk for bladedancers that can be used off of our blink strike and arc blade. Mask of the Third Man also can regen health by picking up perks. Titans have a melee that also lets them regain health. Defenders can regen using their ward of dawn as well, but others don't . Warlocks can apparently use lifesteal on the Voidwalker sub to regen health. There are armor pieces with the health regen by picking up orbs perks as well as weapons that can regen; such as suros and red death. I'll update this edit specifically when I learn/see more, as for the rest of the post, I'll edit individually as I am informed Edit 2: I'd venture to say we already would follow this strategy, but Hunters should probably be the swordbearers. The agility as well as invis can increase shots on Crota. Apparently invis can add one to two extra swings. BE CAREFUL THOUGH NightMare Edit: I'm out and about right now so I'm just going to paste his procedure as is. This is for the Crota encounter
Your going to kill all adds when the fight starts, DO NOT go outside as that starts the ten minute timer. When everyone is ready you go out and go to the middle platform(that ledge outside the middle rooms glass). You immediately stop the sword bearer who will 9/10 times go to the right and hide behind a rock. When he dies your sword bearer runs for he sword. While he is doing this kill the boomer CLOSEST to Crota on the side he will be jumping from(KEEP THIS CONSISTENT). When the boomer is dead and your sword bearer is on the rocks burn out Crota with launchers. Your guy presses up on the left stick when he does the down cut and gets 4-5 hits. When Crota turns orange he drops the sword and blink stikes Crota. From there Crota will turn green again and you light him up with rockets once more. When you have fired your rockets IMMEDIATELY turn left and go in that entrance and go to middle DO NOT SHOOT THE OTHER BOOMER. Now wait for him to go back mid, have one person watch the sword bearer so you know where to shoot. When he goes mid you all run back to the middle platform as one unit. Repeat the last step again. When it is over turn right and go in that entrance when your in go to the back of that room and immediately shoot and kill both boomers. When they die you have one guy kill the thralls and the rest work on the ogre(s). A wizard may spawn and you will have to adjust accordingly there. If once ogre lives go to the left side and repeat. Once that's done wait for Crota to go mid again. This last part is crucial. The final cycle will be enrage. When your sword bearer drops him into enrage he blink strikes and waits. DO NOT SHOOT THE OVERSOUL HERE. Focus all fire on Crota when he stops his summoning animation and then once he is down your Sword bearer finishes him. It will take practice and a lot of patience. Whatever you do bring synths for days and DO NOT BE STINGY with your heavy light every motherfûcker up that you need to.
• Also for health regeneration on the Crota battle, I have seen Titans use a punch to regain health (I don't know the name of the perk). Hunters can also do this using Hungering Blade off of their Blink Strike. I also noticed for Hunters, Mask of the Third Man will regenerate health when you pick up orbs from a super.
