After reading the Eurogamer interview I have to admit I was a bit shocked. The cost of this expansion is one thing but the exclusive content reserved for the "Collector's" edition is a total slap in the face. An offer of a similar TTK collector expansion should be given to the rest of us. Of course there will be those that jump at the new edition despite having to repurchase the game and content they already own but many will just grumble as they shell out the expansion cost. Some will even make the typical "if Bungie does this then I quit!!" Half of those will continue to play faithfully, the other half will check back in a couple months to see what they've missed. Either way the heart of the matter comes down to content. It seems even the veiled hint of some type of Legacy items isn't enough to placate the masses. They're all too busy being outraged at the Fall Noobs being offered more content. Soon we'll have the typical "why should I have to pay for disc locked content" threads...
