Community Spotlight is a group centered around highlighting members of the Bungie community. Interviews are given to selected Bungie community members and are broadcast on Twitch.tv! Our goal is to help create a friendlier, more personal, environment here on Bungie.net.
We are going to try shoot for interviews on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. Members that are selected will have an option to choose either a written interview, or a live streamed interview based on their personal preference. There is no specific criteria for being considered for interviews other than being an active member of the Bungie community. There is no specific criteria for being considered for interviews, other than being an active member of the Bungie forums. Members will be selected from all areas of the website, not just one.
Live streamed interviews will be held on Discord and streamed to Twitch so that anyone may participate! Interviews will focus around a series of general questions, user-specific questions, and questions submitted by the community itself. We hope to match the success of the Community Carnage in bringing the community together and promoting community involvement through this project.
To do our best to accommodate all Guardians, we will try our best to transcribe all verbal interviews for our hearing-impaired friends.
Please stop by and join in on the fun. We encourage all Guardians to participate in our forums and the Discord server.

Edited by Octopus: 4/15/2017 12:46:19 PM
Our goal is to help create a friendlier, more personal, environment here on Bungie.net.
No...your goal is simply to get as many followers as possible and therefor money ,) btw, personally i'm just fine with simply reading through comments on bungie.net forum posts that interest me and don't need stuff like that...but i guess with so many ppl wasting time watching others playing on YT or twitch, rather than enjoy games thereselves more or watching others babbling about games i wouldn't be surprised if this crap gets said followers^^ to me, to watch rain drops fall excites me more ,) edit: btw, if you actually would have spent some time on the forums you would already know that it has already something like this by lost sols (like it or not)...so is another really needed? my advice, if you have to say something yourself, why not ask sols for an invite...i'm pretty sure he allows you a few minutes where you can babble a bit about destiny, instead of actually enjoying some ingame action^^

Sols kinda does something like this but if all you get on is a load of kiss asses that won't call bs when it is what's the point. Just look at community focus over the past nearly 3 yrs not one of those have had the balls to come out and say pvp atm is crap this that and the other is crap get your shite together or x weapons are broken they just let on it's all unicorns and rainbows. Fyi it's kind of a bit late in D1 for this now as there will be no more changes to weapons abilities so maybe for D2

Sweet. Sounds interesting.

I've been holding off on doing so for so long, but I guess I'm gonna have to finally make a Discord.

It is a novel thought, but here in the salt capitol of the world it is just wrong. Who wants to be featured and called a tool by every 12 year old here. Best of luck.

Good stuff :)

Seems similar to the old Community Joes features. I like it.
