Hey there development team,
So I got a few ideas for a better control system that will eliminate us from going into the menu while in battle for ammo synth or element change in the murmur or any future weapons
-d-pad usefulness will now be for ammo synth and element change (Murmur)
Taping up once will consume a heavy synth while tapping up 3 times will consume a special weapon synth.
The gap for the synth is there so you don't mistakenly use a special synth if pressed twice.
-d-pad (continued) tapping left will change element damage on primaries (if any in the future)
Tapping down will change element for special weapons
Tapping right will change element for heavy weapons (if any in the future)
-Dancing, pointing ect.
The left bumper button (grenade button) will have multi functions now.
Tapping the left bumper button will throw a grenade like it always had, but holding it down for a second and a half should open a small transparent circle window with the selections of dancing, pointing, sitting, waving or even more interactions you may add.
While on the sparrow pointing will stay on the D-pad
Thanks for the read bungie and DeeJ!

Hmm good ideas but would see some probs I'd have; D pad up : primary D pad right : secondary D pad down : heavy D pad left : burn switch Then hold L2/LT which is effectively aim... And then D pad for emotes.

Ammo should be a ghost function. I've been saying this since day 1. The ghost is so under-utilized it aint even funny.

What about a sub menu with hot keys when you click the touch pad similar to the one in thief but easier to use on the fly. For example clicking the touch screen allows your idea to be implemented without interfering with the gestures on the d pad. I also think that it would be a great idea for us to have more features to choose from. Like they have in realm reborn

Bump for a look
