Becuase if they do, they can't tell me that they don't see the special spawn effect not working! I forget exactly when this bug was introduced, but it was after a patch. Think it was when ROI dropped. Something that changed took out the effects or bugged them out. Iv seen posts here and there about them, but through weekly updates and hot fixes and patches, I don't even see this issue acknowledged. Not game destroying, but a little acknowledgement of the issue would be nice..

They have access to Bungie's private setup where everything works perfectly and none of the employees see the game falling apart. They probably have exotics that the public don't even get to use.

the fact that they made legendary versions of the exotic class items is really the question.. adding those with the same name -blam!-ed up the animation and they obviously don't care about that.. Why they needed to add them in to the game is beyond me.. lazy, stupid.. who knows. its these things that bungie seems oblivious too, they seem not to understand there own game and how it works.. take for instance the fact that aksis doesn't have a chance to drop an exotic if you use 3oc because it was build on a vehicle.. and vehicles won't drop exotics.. and they admitted to forgetting that.. its your game and you can't keep straight what effects what, how things are built etc.. its frustrating watching one of the best ideas for a game that I have ever seen, with so much potential, so much great artwork and amazing gun functionality to have so much bogged down by laziness, lack of imagination, inability to solve issues etc.. 3 years into the beta and we have so many issues that should have been fixed or should never have needed fixing if they just did it right in the first place.

It's because of the legendary versions. The coding thinks their the same item so (the legendary version being favored) the exotic one doesn't have the spawn effect. Kind of silly but quite annoying considering the spawn effect is one of the reasons people would spend so long on that quest.

Your correct. They stopped working when the pre release patch was put out prior to ROI release. I have been trying to get this addressed since then.

They know a lot of things that have issues in this game. Can they actually do anything about it other then mention it to the devs? Nope.
