It's not my idea, I should say. I can't really remember where I found it, but it was on a Facebook discussion about the different 40k video games out there in the world.
To bring it down to it's brass tacks, the idea was this:
It would be a survival horror in which you control a lone Imperial Guardsman after their ship was attacked and taken over by the forces of Chaos. Your goal is now to find some way off that ship alive, while there's still some sort of chance.
There were some finer details, to the point where your character would also have to fight the influence of Chaos and the idea of an expansion where you'd do the same thing again on an Inquisitor's ship after he suspects you of being tainted by chaos. Whether or not those are good idea or not can probably wait, let's discuss this idea.

Imperial guardsman have it real tough. There's a 99% chance you'll die in the first year. Anyways, the concept does sound interesting.

Amazing idea, I would play the shit out of that. I would love to be hunted by both Chaos Space Marines, and demons alike. (Maybe we come back later, controlling a grey knight and fùck EVERYTHING up after we beat the game ;) ) It would also be interesting being in the perspective of a regular IG for once, in the presence of all this OP shit. I just want a quality 40k game other than dawn of war 1/2 lol

Sort of reminds me of Isolation and Lifeline, two decent games. The concept seems fun, and I see lots of room for story here. My question is; what is Chaos? Is it a group or one person? Aliens, or humans?

Modificato da ThyLordIntrovert: 5/3/2017 4:24:57 PMI like the idea, but id rather have a game about a space marine banished to the eye of terror. Maybe have 4 player co-op, from a story perspective the other players would be renegades also banished to that planet?
