*A Wild Gringo has appeared*
Little disclaimer, I am not claiming to be the first person who found this, I just want to make it better known.
Now the card I am talking about is Exo 2. The spark notes version of the card is there is an unnamed Exo Guardian who is killing himself to recover memories from his past. While he is dead he has visions. What was unintelligible philosophy stuff actually makes sense with the reveal of Destiny 2. When you read this think about the fall of the Last City
Okay. We are falling into the world. Everyone is on fire. There's a ship above us but it's coming apart just like a flower, alloy and fusion flash, pierced through and through -
The voice says Atmospheric interface. Trajectory nominal. Rabid two three you are outside the window. (I think I am the voice)
I can see the whole earth below me and the sky we are falling out of is black without stars.
Other than the obvious destruction going on pointing to perhaps the Last City (or really any other battle on Earth) for me what screams "fall of the Last Safe City" is the ship flying above our narrator, it "comes apart just like a flower". This sounds very unusual and could perfectly describe the Traveler Supressor flying over the last City as it opens up to contain the Traveler. Our Exo friend is trying to escape this, and it appears that he succeeds when he reaches the ends of our atmosphere.
So assuming this is indeed referring to the future fall of the City and not the Exo's memory, then the next part becomes more unusual.
Ghost, shoot me again.

We are on the ice. This is elsewhere and elsewhen. There is a mighty aurora and it is reflected in the ice so I walk between two fires although the one below is cracked and full of corpses. I have and am a weapon.
Up in the sky there is a hole in Jupiter and it tears at me when I look at it. It tears at me. It is hungry. Maybe the hole is not in Jupiter but in me.

If this is in Destiny 2 still, it has to be on a moon of Jupiter, most likely Io since it is the only moon of Jupiter we will be going to in Destiny 2. However the reference to ice implies Europa and this Exo doesn't need to go to where we do in Destiny 2.
Perhaps we will find out what this means on September 6. Perhaps I am wrong and this isn't the future but it is indeed this Exo's past. Only time will really tell.
As fun as my theory is, it is, however, very likely this is just a memory of the Collapse where the "flower" is an explosion. Whether it is to our benefit or not, Bungie had to make a lot of these very ambiguous in the writing of them.

Some people seem to be confused. It is not the Exo Stranger. It is just an exo
This is one of the Exodus colony ships (emergency) landing during the collapse, with another exploding nearby.
These are the very same SIVA constructed ships that were from the Cosmodrome, and built by Rasputin. Each ship had an AI on board to control the SIVA, however each AI feared that without Rasputin, the SIVA would break free.
Many of these ships have been revealed. Exodus blue, the one stranded in the cosmodrome and used as a crucible map. Exodus Red, the one of grimiore cards, and Exodus Black whose pic was recently revealed to be crashed on the ruins of Nessus.
For more info on the Exodus Project - check out Myelin's recent lore video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRHab-e0Ep8 - It does a pretty good job explaining the ships, SIVA, and the collapse.
