So I'm curious...
If you were to have one major grievance with Destiny 2, or the franchise as a whole, what would you want Bungie and Activision to address?
Is it the lore?
Gameplay?
Multiplayer and Co-Op?
Releases and DLC?
Silver and Microtransactions?
I see a lot of complaints, but not any supporting reasons why people think Destiny 2 fails as a game. So why all the bitching with no real criticisms included?
What would you change, Guardians?
Also, rather than complaining, try real constructive criticism. Way back in year one of Vanilla Destiny, I wrote a post about how the factions were basically meaningless and how it would be cool to see faction-specific gear and shaders, and that those additions would make factions a valuable game component. Lo and behold, those suggestions came through. Food for thought.
Im so sick of getting old and duped exotics, you buy a new game to play the new game not the old one, 10 exotics so far and not a single forsaken exotic to show for it

Modificato da PJ__Bottoms: 11/17/2017 9:39:40 AMIt's simple, immature attitudes and massive entitlement. Destiny 2 isn't the game these Destiny 1 players wanted, so they throw tantrums and make shitposts. These are the people who apparently threw fits in the toy store when they didn't get what they wanted, and their parents gave in. They are upset because the game wasn't custom-tailored to their specific wants, hence, childlike butthurt ensues. Although if Bungie gave us a game that was just like Destiny 1, these same people would be crying over how it "could have just been an expansion and I want all my D1 stuff back." Also it's cool and trendy to hate on the game currently. I'm sure that's what all these kids are talking about at their school lunch table everyday. God forbid you say you enjoy the game even if you think it has glaring issues but can overlook them, or these same people label you the "Bungie Defense Force." I mentioned in one thread that I was enjoying the game playing with the new clan I joined, and one guy literally replied saying I was delusional, lol. That's how out of touch with reality these people are. it also occurs to me some of these people crying loudest played Destiny 1 religiously and hardly touched any other games, and Bungie just threw a wrench in their custom-built bubble lives with something different they weren't expecting. That or they never actually played a REALLY bad game before. I pre-ordered D2, have been playing on PS4 since day one, and also went through the "this kind of sucks" phase coming from D1. But then I found positive people to play with, and started having lots of fun again. Heck I even pre-ordered the Horizon Zero Dawn story expansion that released last week and still haven't touched it due to hopping on Destiny 2 (and I don't even touch PVP in this game much either) Plus even if I didn't play it anymore I definitely got my moneys worth in value of entertainment. I've been playing well over a month now. Some games I've paid $60 for I've beaten in 4 days and never touched again. South Park Fractured But Whole took 20 total hours to beat. I have almost 200 hours logged in Destiny 2 already. How can I seriously sit here and complain I want a refund or I didn't get my moneys worth? I guess I would feel differently if I was a kid who had to beg for mommy's credit card for a game, then turns out I didn't like it after I bought it. You also have to consider the fact that these kids think a few thousand people whining on the forums, a few youtubers, and some game news sites still represent the "majority" when more than a couple hundred thousand still log in regularly to play the game and consider it "failing. They have no idea how game populations work, or that the number of people who log in daily is still leaps and bounds better than most popular games. Top 3 games on Steam are PUBG @ 1.5million, then DOTA 2, and CounterStrike GO at less than 400k. Warframe on pc only gets 44k. That's the game everyone wants you to go play instead, the one with 44k instead of 600k. Seriously. Now I'm sure this post will get downvoted by the masses of butthurt, and I'll be called a Bungie shill or the like as well. ;)

We gave them 3 years worth of constructive criticism, feedback, whatever. They shitted on all of it. Is it so hard to believe that people love Destiny but just don't want to go through all of that again? Same updates, twabs, streams, etc..
-
Constructive or not it makes no difference we've tried being polite but they don't give a shit they just ignore it there was a community wishlist and only 2/50 things on it were actually addressed people are tired or writing constructive posts and are now angry because after 3 years of the game bungie took all the changes and threw them in the dumpster
-
Some of the posts ive read have legitimate complaints and constructive feedback

This is not about content but game modes. They are different things. Content is how many strikes. Game modes is Heroic strikes and regular strikes. Now that's out of the way, Destiny 2 lacks the game modes that made destiny 1 so enjoyable. Heroic strikes. Elemental burns. Awesome and fun modifiers. Ton of 6v6 crucible modes and rumble. Random rolls. Heroics were taken out so bungie can make more money off dlc. Those game modes should have been in the initial launch. No reason for Bungie to leave them out.
-
The Ships and Sparrows should be coming from Amanda Holliday. Not sold from Eververse. Why is Amanda even there?

Modificato da GOAT Spartan: 11/17/2017 8:12:10 PM“No real reasons” Fan boy is just triggered by other peoples factual statements, so hes bitching like an entitled brat. What a hypocrite

I really don't understand all the hate either. It's almost like a massive smear campaign from another developer -_- What were people expecting? We have a gorgeous looking game with absolutely next level visual design. Totally solid engine in all regards...it's smooth as a baby's rump Good story, well told, good pacing, cohesive etc.... Lore rich universe Decent fast paced PvP Extra PvE stuff you can do Most games would beg to have all those boxes ticked!! Let alone as well as Bungie have done!! Then consider that content can and will be added to every single one of the categories I have mentioned above. Seriously......what the hell did people want?!? This isn't D1, so stop expecting it to be D1. This is the start of D2. It's a three year game, so just chill out and enjoy killing stuff!
-
There’s so much potential in this game and the franchise. Bungie just doesn’t want to listen.
-
Random gear rolls and a better class perk tree would make me pretty happy. Gear rolls would be #1 though. Bungie has already said that they know players want rng gear perks but they're still not going go put them in the game. Honestly, telling the devs specifically what we want, won't do anything.
-
I enjoy raiding. Not saying we need three raids at launch or anything, but this raid we have now is just a major shortcoming compared to what I know is actually capable of being produced. Do I want all the old raids to return? No. I do want something more than just some random hoop jumping and a glimpse of botany. I'd take vanilla D1 a hundred times over vanilla D2. Rng on every single aspect is just a shallow reason to play things over and over rather than making them actually rewarding. Yes, it's true that if we were able to just purchase what we want with our tokens rather than having rng determine it, most of us would literally have nothing to do but upping the amount needed from 20 to 50 and trading them in for something you actually want would actually entice me to play things more. Timers on nightfall strikes is another atrocity. I now just pick and choose when I run a nightfall. It's not that I mind the challenge, but rushing through and hitting a point where a new dialogue is started before the last one is finished does nothing for me. I don't even know why we are here doing the strike because I can't slow down and actually listen. Crucible is just boring and repetitive and half the time I'm stuck playing a game mode I dislike. Having weekly milestones net you the strongest loot possible is an outright oddity. If people aren't running the prestige content, there is no reason for anyone to be above power level 260 and that's just to get them into trials. Otherwise, 240 tops.

Modificato da Legion: 11/17/2017 3:50:39 PMOkay, for me it is superficial things that can easily be remedied, but I don't have the time to make friends just to raid, use a third party site or this site. (Have tried always ignored.) they broke my favorite weapon the Red Death. Now, I'll list my problems with the franchise and why I chose not to continue, 1. No Matchmaking for raids. I can't fathom who decided against this, I'm an introvert mother-blam!-er and I am not looking to make friends. (I don't have a mic) I can watch a guide and practice as we go, I do it with FFXIV only they have a party finder and in game chat for high end game content. 2. They kept on nerfing throughout the years and it made the game feel inconsistent, also it felt like I would have to relearn the weapons all over or the weapon I used became trash and I would have to find a new one just to compete or have fun to say the least. 3. The end result, PvP was my go to time waster when there was nothing to do at the end of the day and where I spent my time when I finished my weekly strike and daily quest, etc. so the end result became a team shooter, again a solo player here and not a fan of working as a team. This is also unlikely to happen, but it is rare when it does with a bunch of randoms. Of course I still have fun and still jump on to Destiny Crucible once and a while when I'm bored of my main games. It just does not feel the same after Year two. For D2 I'm hoping for the best and a change in the next expansion, why am I still around? I'm trying to kill time until January and to see if I will change my mind to make the purchase before then.

There are a lot of players out there that think the game should have been catered to their very specific taste in gaming. That doesn't count as an actual problem with the game. It's a problem with the player and the reason Bungie isn't "fixing" these problems is because the literally can not. Let's look at some examples.... Lack of Content? Nah, the game just ended. Every game ends. Go play something else. 4v4 sucks? That's an opinion. I happen to like 4v4 so who's right? Nightfall timers? Its. Not. That. Hard. Static weapon perks? Balance people. Balance. Shaders being consumabl? This argument didn't last long. Got a ton of shaders by now huh? So many that you're deleting them to make room? That's what I thought. MIDA? Yeah again, this one died pretty quickly. Can't buy specific gear? You'd grind for a god roll if you could but grinding for all the gear in a set is crap? There's the door. No new dlc raid? Whoever said it had to have one? Let's look at some valid issues The Vault. Enough said. Being able to pick specific Crucible modes. The Calus glitch. Empty Cayde's chests. Not to include the fact that 1 might only contain Charred Celery. Cayde was saving that just for you and, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

There are literal droves of posts that clearly state all the changes that people want, mostly unanimous, including but not limited to: • I’m so done • The game sucks • I’m quitting destiny • Bungie sucks • I know I’ve said it with every expansion, but this time I’m really quitting destiny • Pvp sucks now and was great before even though I complained about everything then too • Destiny is officially dead • Microtransactions, grrr! • Destiny is so bad I play other games now and I hate that • The dlc will suck • Upvote if you [any variation of the above bullet points] So stop complaining, the info is there if you just look!

Modificato da Suite-D: 11/17/2017 8:58:56 PMMy suggestions are: Switch back to primary/secondary/heavy weapons system and allow us to use elemental mods as we see fit Place NF timer on Prestige NF exclusively I dunno what could be done about making the Leviathan raid more exciting without adding sub bosses, removing the highly coordinated mechanics and following the example set by the Kings Fall raid.....basically give it a full makeover I guess Give us the option to choose which strikes or crucible games we wanna play and add 6v6 back to the mix Iron Banner 6v6 random game mode would be ok, but put post game random loot drops back in place Overall I still like D2 and if these things were either introduced or put back in place, I dont think I' have a single valid complaint I know its more than just one thing, but my feedback isn't limited to just one QOL improvement in game, lol Regards :)

Modificato da TheFieryInferno: 11/19/2017 6:22:57 AM-More pvp options than 4v4 -Ability to choose your own pvp game mode -Getting to max light needs to be harder - Exotics need to be harder to get -Exotics need to be better -Random rolls on guns and armor -ability to choose which strike you play -more hidden exotic quest -a major raid exotic quest -dedicated servers -60 fps -strike scoring -no vendor package limit -more challenging and more rewarding types of public events -strike specific loot -lost sector specific loot -In game lfg -raid gear with raid perks -trials gear with trials perks -no crucible latency (when you are behind cover and are killed and your ghost is displaced to make it look like you weren't behind cover, this is caused by no dedicated servers) -vault needs a bigger space -more guns not reskins -more armor not reskins -lists continues (And these are necessities the game should already have)
-
They're a bunch of whiny entitled children that's why. They have been pissed since Bernie Sanders got spanked.
-
I’ve been wondering this too. The only valid complaints I could really see that are a fair expectation would be those who loved strikes and the lack of a heroic option makes them go stale faster, this was also included in base D1 iirc. The other thing is the pvp plays a lot different which I like more, but I could see how it would tick some people off expecting something closer to the last game.
-
Basically, the game is dog poo 👍
-
Because this forum is full of the worst type of people, they are obsessed with the game absolutely obsessed and when something isn't to their liking they spew hate all over the place.
-
Modificato da Orpheus Kell of Oracles: 11/17/2017 7:06:45 PMThey’re all paid protesters, that’s what’s going on with this forum. Constructive criticism/feedback is great and welcomed but clearly some of these threads have a hidden agenda.
-
We need better armor, weapons, exotics, re-imagined skill trees, unlocked abilities, strike-specific loot, meaningful raid loot with raid perks, faster TTK in all activities and wistful goodbye to the "freedom" (lmao) loadout.
-
At this point I the only improvement they could make would be to offer refunds
-
I think they overcompensated when they tried to reduce the grind. It needs to be bumped up somewhat, but you also need to be able to buy what guns you want because token RNG is horrible
-
Yeah that's why 6 million people quit playing, just entitled kids lol
