This reminds me of Speaker’s RP commandments. Someone wanna plug those in comments for me please?
Anyway. Due to recent events, I got thinking again, which sometimes is a nuisance and sometimes is a godsend.
If you are a DM, is it acceptable if you’ve clearly lined out a plan for an RP, CLEARLY, as in specifically said in the RP, and someone completely ignores the guidelines, no, RULES, and just casually says “I don’t care”. Is is acceptable to either kick them out of your RP or make sure it doesn’t happen again?
I’ve heard of a blacklist option, (also been on the receiving end, completely hated it so I think it wouldn’t be a plausible option for one violation, besides the choice of the DM.) and it’s rather effective if I do say so myself. (Made me never want to break rules knowingly again.)

Give them an in canon warning, then an out of canon warning, then if they’re still not listening say the Takamagahara System teleported them to the bottom of the ocean, and wiped their memory of the whole situation. That’s what I do when people break the rules of the RP, as I’m sure you remember.
