Stop nerfing the weapons that we grinded endlessly for

The nerfing/grinding loop should stop.

No issues with it, steady as she goes.

Unlike a lot of other players, I really worked really hard for my mountaintop. I spent endless evenings getting grenade launcher kills, unlike a lot of players. Since I'm not a good PvP player (nor do I intend to become one), and since I did it legit, this took me a lot of time. For a time, I was happy that i invested all that time, because mountaintop was brilliant. A *brief* period of time that is, because after one month, it got sunsetted - along with most of my favorite other guns. That's when I uninstalled Destiny for the first time. About this time, most of my gear also became totally useless. Right now, I'm considering it again. "Anarchy has done too much too well for too many years (without even counting the boost it's gotten this Season, which is due to the sweet Grenade Launcher artifact mods), so we're making changes that make it great at a couple roles rather than being the jack of all Grenade Launchers." While that might seem good, I wonder *why*? Again, I had to do the raid quite a few times before I got it - which was fine, because it's a very, very good, *exotic* weapon. So, putting some effort into it, and being rewarded for doing that, seems fair. After all, we *all* want to have the best possible guns, and we *all* want something special if we spent considerable time grinding for it. Because remember: unlike the "play tests" at Bungie, we actually have to put effort in completing these quests. In bungie style, I don't expect Anarchy to be nerfed - I expect it to be completely destroyed like so many other great weapons, up to the point where "exotic" has little meaning in this context. Yes, I absolutely love my Anarchy, and I would absolutely hate it to be artificially broken this way. I wonder, *WHY* is it so bad that people have exotic weapons that are better (hence the term "exotic"), and *WHY* is it so bad that we want to be rewarded for grinds? It's not like it benefits people in PvP, which was usually the reason for nerfing the crap out of guns - it's only used for PvE, and being able to seal off areas make just adds a more tactical dimension to the game, which is fun. Not even that, it's not like Anarchy is doing more damage than -say- swords; it's "breach and clear" that makes it so good -- which will be long gone after this season. It's also not that people have been using "only" Anarchy for so long - there was Sleeper Stimulent a few seasons back, then Anarchy & mountaintop, then spike grenades, then there were swords (Falling Guillotine), there was Xenophage, then swords again (Lament), and now blinding grenades & Anarchy. What I do get is that some exotics fall (very) short. Eyes of Tomorrow and Vex Mythoclast currently don't make a lot of sense. Some of us (like me) have to do dozens of runs to get one, to then just scrap them (save PvP for Eyes) because they hardly deserve the word "exotic". Anarchy is not the problem here - it's these endgame exotics like Mythoclast that don't deliver more than most non-exotic weapons, combined with some mods that boost things that were already good. The whole nerfing loop is just annoying. If the point is to keep people playing, because they then have to re-grind for new weapons, I would urge Bungie to serious reconsider this strategy. I've seen a lot of good players stopping because of this strategy; it's just plain unrewarding. The people that play this game a lot, care about being rewarded - and yes, that means we definitely care about getting better gear than the people that didn't play a lot. Grinding is no fun, if there's no reward at the end. I don't see any reason why this wouldn't be fair. So please Bungie, *please* stop killing your own game.
