Bungie made Halo/Destiny, we'll compare the two: Halo, circle (weapon) - The Traveler, orb/sphere (shield) Spartans, super soldiers - Guardians, magical heroes Playabe races, Humans (with/without mechanical enhancements) - Humans, mechs, the teenagers Halo: Reach's Armor Abilities - Guardian class/skill choices. The Oracle/Cortana, helper/library - Ghost, helper/library The Covenant - The Fallen The Flood - The Hive Brutes - Cabal Prometheans - The Vex Let's see, I watched a lets play and a review, and I'm disappointed. This was supposed to be the "Next Big Thing", but ends up being "The Next Big Commercial Success". Let's make one thing clear, if something gets bought a lot/pre-order a lot, that doesn't mean it's good. It's like going to a new movie, you don't if it's good yet, because you haven't seen it. So you and a couple of millions of people go and watch it out of curiousity. The movie isn't very good, but later you hear on tv/radio/whatever, that it's the best movie that summer/whatever, the movie is bad but the only thing anyone ever cares about is money. It's like that with everything. But I hoped that Bungie wanted to make something amazing, new and mythical. Something that would keep people entertained for nearly 10 years. A way to do that is to NOT make the game complete. Leave some stuff out, so that there's more for later. It still might be what was promised, but I like many others, thought they wanted to be that from the moment the game released. Not after the release of the first of many DLC packages, because let's be fair, they're probably not aiming for Blizzard style Expansions, but Call of Duty/Borderlands style of DLC. Why Activision, I wonder? Why not go to another compagny rolling in money willing to invest in this BRAVE, NEW game? Out of Microsoft's cage and into another, is that how it is? Is that really the Destiny you chose for yourself, Bungie?
