Not long ago, I got on an old school science-fiction-killer-alien-on-a-ship spree and came to the conclusion Bungie must be big fans of the Alien series as well as the Predator series. Just looking at the aliens in each show alone, you can gather that they were a huge inspiration for Halo's Elites. The long curved dome like head from the Aliens and the four mandibles from the Predator. Then there's the active camouflage and two bladed weapon wielded by the Predator, which I will predict inspired the Elites' energy swords. There's much more I think influenced their old game's mechanics, but I won't flood this with them. I'm calling you out Bungie. I bet your concepts for Halo's Elites were inspired by the most classic, influential alien species in cinema. Who agrees?
