What Happened?
Edit: And for all of those asking, yes ESO is out now.
-
Eso was going to Kill Destiny, but somebody shot it in the ankle, with a Gjallerhorn.
-
Has anyone actually got onto a server for ESO? Or Do you just watch the smoke on the screen for a couple hours?
-
You have to be able to log into the game first... Read yesterday that some people were having to sit in the queue for an hour.
-
It's the goddamn servers, they're absolute garbage. Your always put into a queue then when you do get on the load times are occasionally ridiculous. I eventually give up and try to log on again then BOOM queued

Destiny was supposed to kill Dust 514 (a really crappy lobby shooter). If Destiny couldn't kill an easy target I don't see another game ending Destiny. Definitely cutting into profits. The relevant question is when people are presented with a choice of these two to purchase which will they prefer?
-
Guys honestly destiny has been dead a long time. Less than 15% of the people that bought it still play it. I like destiny a lot, but after the disappointment of it getting over-hyped a lot of people felt betrayed and stopped playing.
-
And these ps exclusives? Do I still have to pay the same price for less content? And don't give me that shit that we have cod exclusives, cause we don't anymore. Ontop of that we still haven't gotten the first set of ps exclusives. I won't be spending a $ (I was going to pre-order) until we atleast get the first set of exclusives. TIME TO MOVE TO ESO. -blam!- ACTIVI$ION.

The same thing that has happened to EVERY hyped game that has come out in the last 9 months. 1. They ran into their own launch-related problems. 2. They carted away a small number of disgruntled and burned-out players from Destinty....but nothing more.

magburnerにより編集済み: 6/15/2015 10:21:25 PMI agree, ESO has been out a week, gamers are still in the honeymoon period with this game. Give it a month or so, or until the *optional* subscription service bites them on the arse, and they will come skulking back, with their tail between your legs.

No game will really kill another game. Only thing that kills games is time, or just the poor development of a game. However, some games will draw people in more so than others. Warframe pulled me away from Gears of War 3. Bloodborne pulled me away from Warframe. HoW pulled me from Bloodborne, but now I'm going back to playing all of them. I'm sure it's the same for every person who ever said [blank] will kill destiny.
