You're selling weapon parts. Why not armor materials? The grind gets old after awhile.

1) Run some Heroics Strikes. Engrams drop fairly frequently mid-Strike and guaranteed ones drop at the end. Dismantle those, rinse & repeat. 2) Run the Court of Oryx. An hour there and you'll be 50+ Armour Mats/Weapon Parts up. 3) Profit.

I would love it they sold them. For the second time I've deleted all my materials thinking I was "using" a mote of light to level up equipment. At least make it so idiots like me can "lock" them so I don't do it again....which I will.

If you're not dedicated to the grind then don't play Destiny. Especially if you don't have a lot of time on your hands.

Ive seen how you have been replying to these people and how you've been insulting others. Let it be known I have reported you for being a complete idiot and a complete asshole. You say you have a life and yet here you are telling people off like its their fault you are poor in the damn game. Get off the forums and don't come back, nobody needs people like you. Send me messages like you have been sending to other people, go ahead, you will be blocked and reported once again so either play nice or you will never have a chance to play this game again after the countless reports bungie is going to receive.

I love how everyone is astonished how you don't have thousands of armour mat's. Well noobs. In HoW, you would typically spend a shit tonne of weapon parts rerolling your Y1 weapons to get your desired weapon roll to cater to the then current 'meta'. I personally went through ~6000 weapon parts at that time. In TTK, you would spend a shit tonne of armour mat's rerolling your exotic armours. Getting the optimum builds possible for every primary/secondary weapon with every subclass with every character. Aiming for at least Tier 10 for all subclass armour builds. This ability to reroll exotic armour only become a feature with TTK. Hence the armour mat's drought. Well phucking der!! Who would have ever phucking thought huh? Maybe thats why I see players at 335 light and 500+ points stacked into their "strength" and not even at their first tier with "intellect" and "discipline". Because light level is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than build optimization, right? Because as simple as this game is, the simple mechanics are still beyond a disappointingly large portion of the player base. If weapon parts are now sold, than there is no coherent excuse why armour mat's shouldn't be sold.

man i feel ya. wasn't an issue til i started climbing the 300 ladder, on 3 characters. plus finally getting into the exotic game- they take like 10 mats per perk i think? with weapons we have options: grind or buy. armour? nope, get ur grind on. hope they change it

Personally, I have no need for armor materials. As long as I can remember, in Destiny I always break unnecessary stuff (engrams drop for armor with about 80 percent more often than for weapons). But I also understand that for those who played a comparatively short time it could be a problem (when not all the desired sets of armor obtained, and materials terribly lacks). I'm not against the sale of all materials, it would be logical.

BossYAHGにより編集済み: 7/16/2016 1:15:38 PM1) Buy year one class items from Eris Morn. 2) Break them down - Armor materials (usually 2 or 3), Ascendant Materials (usually 2 or 3), and glimmer. 3) Sell Radiant Materials to the Speaker for Motes of light. 4) You're welcome.
